The Barack Obama Justice and Education departments have declared that all public schools be required to institute gender-neutral bathrooms where boys can freely enter girls’ bathrooms and vice versa. Failure to comply threatens federal funding. But putting boys in girls’ bathrooms is NOT where the proclamation stops. Writing for National Review, David French reports, “You may not have realized it yet, but the Obama administration just destroyed the traditional American public school. Without an act of Congress, without a ruling from the Supreme Court, and without even going through the motions of the regulatory rule-making process, the administration issued a [More]
The BBC has concluded Christianity features too prominently in its religious output in an internal review, insisting other faiths be given more airtime and resources. Both the Church of England and the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) – who are linked to the pro-international Caliphate group Muslim Brotherhood – appeared to welcome the findings, with the later calling for Friday prayers to be broadcast. According to the Times, Lord Hall, the director-general, is now considering what to do about the apparently problematic findings – that there is a disproportionate amount televised Christianity in a historically Christian country. One of the supposed leaders of the “Religious Right” is the toast of the American left after sparking a bitter war of words with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. A lawsuit has been filed by the ACLU demanding that a religious-rights law in Mississippi, which protects the First Amendment constitutional rights regarding faith issues, be struck so that homosexuals cannot be refused any service for any reason. A victory would give the “gay” community the right to order a member of any faith that doesn’t…
A team of Israeli researchers has found evidence that literacy was widespread among ancient Israelites, thus challenging critics of the Bible who claim most people in Old Testament times were illiterate. Critics of the Bible have long alleged that Israelites prior to the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem in 586 B.C. were largely illiterate. Therefore, they argue, many of the Old Testament books were written after the destruction of Jerusalem, which is much later than the Bible suggests. When is a religious profanity no longer “profane”? Sixty years ago, religious profanities typically were forbidden in Hollywood movies, as the Protestant and Catholic film offices held sway on issues of acceptability in the “Golden Age” of film. Today, however, in one Western nation, such profanities fail to register even the slightest concern with the primary…
“A ridiculous hit job.” That’s how one analyst describes Newsweek and author Nina Burleigh’s cover story on the soon-to-be-opened Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC. Burleigh says the aim of the Museum of the Bible is “to prove the Bible factually accurate and historically true.” And that, she opines, is “perhaps more appropriate in an Oklahoma City Sunday school than it is in the capital of a heterogeneous country like the United States.” The museum – which is being built by Hobby Lobby president Steve Green just blocks from the U.S. Capitol and the National Mall – is set [More]

“This is something to expect when taking a bold stand for the Gospel in these times … persecution. Even from supposed fellow Christians.”  Admin A German pastor is reportedly being persecuted by fellow pastors for preaching boldly about Jesus Christ and “refusing to bend a knee to political correctness.” Pastor Olaf Latzel preaches at the historic St. Martini Church in Bremen, where the church’s former pastor, Joachim Neander, wrote the great hymn, “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” in 1679, CBN New reports. “This is just another sign of ever increasing wickedness that the Bible says would come in the last days. The attacks on the Founding Fathers, our liberties, the Constitution and Biblical morality will only increase as time goes on.”  Admin I have been tracking the left’s obsession with hate for some time and have written about it in my newest book, “Scarlet Letters.” But just when I think our liberal friends cannot get more promiscuous with their accusations of “hate,” they reach into their demonic bag of tricks and surprise us. Earlier this week I received…

The Bible has topped the list of “challenged” books at public schools and libraries. Every year the American Library Association releases information on the top 10 most targeted books. So when she recently dispatched a squadron of 11 agents to the home of David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress to confiscate undercover video recordings that reveal Planned Parenthood’s baby-parts business, the question arose whether she…
A growing university poster campaign is asking Christian students to check their privilege. Although the campaign originated out of the University of San Francisco, the message has now created backlash with students across the country after the posters went viral on social media networks like Tumblr and Facebook. Although the architects behind the campaign contend that the posters weren’t intended to shame those with “privilege,” students at Virginia Tech, Oregon University, and the University of San Francisco have complained that the posters are dividing students more than they are bringing them together. The university says it is making the change in response to demand from students and tutors, who are increasingly interested in religions and theologies other than Christianity. Students will still have to study The Bible and the figure of Jesus in their first year, but [More]

I read the news accounts of the Georgia “Preservation of Religious Freedom Act.” You know, that law those crackers down there passed that would give, as CNN reported, “faith-based organizations in Georgia the option to deny services and jobs to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.” You know, the law that was vetoed by Republican Gov.…
