A Christian organization is calling out both the United Nations and the United Kingdom for discriminating against persecuted Christians in their refugee programs. According to Barnabas Aid, the U.K. government has colluded with the U.N. to use an “overwhelming majority” of the refugee slots available from the Middle East for Sunni Muslims “who are the majority in Syria.”   “But Christians, and other minorities have been repeatedly targeted for attack” by Islamic jihadist groups such as ISIS, the new report said.   Further, the organization reported that the U.K. government tried to conceal what it was doing in partnership with the U.N. Westminster Abbey has been accused of “denial of the Lordship of Jesus Christ” after the prophet Muhammad was described as “the chosen one” in a prayer at a First World War service. “Another study that shows teens are a vast mission field in this country. In the article it notes “The study also notes an “increasing acknowledgment that religion is not consistent with scientific understanding” could be driving adolescents away from religion.” After decades of brainwashing kids with the theory of evolution this is not surprising. That’s why sites like this and many others are vital in getting out the creation message and telling the other side of the story.”  Admin Religion is rapidly losing the youngest generation of Americans, according to new research. America’s rising generation of adults are the least [More]
Christians are frightened to reveal their religious beliefs to colleagues at work, equality chiefs admit. When they do declare their Christianity, whether in the office or on the shop floor, they are often mocked or treated like bigots – and their children are even ridiculed at school. Christians also think their faith is being pushed out of its role as a cornerstone of life in Britain, according to a major study by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. And ironically, many feel they are being persecuted by the same anti-discrimination and equality laws supported by the equality watchdog. Persecuted: The [More]

Our poor nation is in desperate need of another Washington today but instead we have the exact opposite much to our ruin.” Admin Washington was unanimously chosen as the Army’s Commander-in-Chief, unanimously chosen as President of the Constitutional Convention, and unanimously chosen as the first U.S. President. As General, Washington acknowledged God after victories throughout the Revolution and as President thanked God for the Constitution, October 3, 1789: “Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the Providence of Almighty God… I do [More]
“Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was once a term used to refer to homosexuals in the military. Now, however, the term is more often being applied to Christians in uniform. Military chaplains are feeling the pressure to conform to the new reality, as some label biblical values “hate speech.” Chaplains have been an integral part of the military throughout our nation’s history, bringing hope to the living and comfort to the dying. Now some chaplains are coming under fire from official government policy and must choose between their consciences and their commander’s orders. A Faith at Odds Read More  Military Chaplains [More]
“Excellent article on the many Biblical themed movies that have come out recently and the impact they are having not only here but elsewhere in the world.”  Admin Nearly crushed under the press and paparazzi on the Hollywood red carpet Friday night, “Jesus” bore each flashbulb and barked question from reporters with the calm reserve of a man accustomed to being under fire from the media. But when WND asked Diogo Morgado, the man who plays “Jesus” in the movie “Son of God,” about the reports of people whose lives have been impacted by the film, the award-winning actor’s face [More]
A new exhibition of ancient clay tablets discovered in modern-day Iraq is shedding light for the first time on the daily life of Jews exiled to Babylon some 2,500 years ago. The exhibition is based on more than 100 cuneiform tablets, each no bigger than an adult’s palm, that detail transactions and contracts between Judeans driven from, or convinced to move from, Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar around 600 BC. Archaeologists got their first chance to see the tablets — acquired by a wealthy London-based Israeli collector — barely two years ago. They were blown away. “It was like hitting the [More]
The plight of Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran has caught America’s attention, but he is just the latest Christian to have his career vaporized by something that was said or written, according to religious liberty advocates. But unlike the dozens of other Christians who have lost jobs or businesses because they dared to violate the sensitivities of the LGBT community, Cochran’s firing became a national story. The fact that establishment media like the New York Times, ABC, NBC, CNN and others have reported the firing of Cochran is good, but it could also be bad. The widespread coverage could signal [More]

A key figure in the Jesus Music movement of the 1960s and 1970s, he helped bridge the gap between black and white Christian music and was recorded by artists such as Elvis Presley and Paul Simon, [More]
While the year 2014 will go down in history for having the highest level of global persecution of Christians in the modern era, current conditions suggest the worst is yet to come. Today, Open Doors released its annual World Watch List, which ranks the top 50 countries where it is most dangerous and difficult to be a Christian. This year, the threshold was higher for a country to make the list, indicating that worldwide levels of persecution have increased. Topping the 2015 list for the 13th consecutive year is North Korea. “Pastor Chuck Baldwin gives his views on what he sees ahead for America in 2015.”  Admin Every year about this time, we are inundated with self-proclaimed prognosticators telling us (with great certainty) what the New Year will bring. The vast majority of the time they are wrong; but, somehow, that doesn’t keep people from listening to these pseudo-prophets or from buying their publications and videos. So, let me say upfront: I am not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet. I have no crystal ball; and the Almighty has not privileged me with special revelation regarding future events. However, [More]

“Once again Mr. O showing where his true religious allegiances lie.”  Admin On Christmas Eve, religious police in the capital city of the Islamic Sultanate of Brunei ordered business owners to remove Christmas decorations or face arrest. When Brunei, a tiny oil-rich fiefdom that shares the island of Borneo with Malaysia and Indonesia, adopted Shariah law earlier this year, some questioned whether the harsh penal code that includes amputation and stoning for blasphemy and other crimes would actually be enforced since a third of Brunei’s population is not Muslim. The crackdown on Christmas this year answers the question. Restaurant and [More]

“Great article on what’s happening in that war torn area and how the Gospel is spreading there.”  Admin Atrocities by the Islamic State (ISIS) are softening the hearts of Muslims to Christianity, and evangelistic techniques and technologies are proving effective, but locally-based missionaries say the main reason for the spike in conversions in the Middle East is simply that former Muslims are finding God is real. More than any time in our nation’s history, Americans are skipping church on Sunday. Identifying exactly who those people are — from a demographic and psychographic perspective — the latest research shines some light on what groups of people the Church are failing to evangelize. Also discovered from the numerous interviews is interesting information giving believers a different take on what their [More]
Even though most of the laws and guiding principles that govern this nation are predicated on the Bible, a surprisingly large proportion of young Americans have developed not only an ambivalence toward Scripture, but an extremely negative view of it, as well. A Closer LookIn the largest study ever undertaken by the Barna Group on a single generation’s take on the Bible, it found many trends in Millennials (Americans ages 18 to 29) that some might find disturbing when it comes to the unchurched and heartening — when looking at the practicing Christians surveyed. “You just never know what an act of kindness might lead to!”  Admin When a young Filipino girl received a Christmas gift-filled shoebox in 2000, she couldn’t have imagined that one day she would meet the 7-year-old boy from Idaho who packed the box in a small town 7000 miles away. And, she never dreamed that she would marry the American boy, now grown up, 14 years later.
