A federal judge has given a secular organization the green light to distribute more atheistic and anti-Christian materials to Florida public school students, in spite of the materials’ graphic content and offensive language. As previously reported, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) learned last year that a Christian ministry had made Bibles available to Orlando high school students on “Religious Freedom Day.” To counter the Bible distribution, FFRF sought permission from the school district to give students a variety of atheistic and anti-Christian materials. According to reports, the Orange County School Board permitted FFRF to distribute several books and pamphlets, [More]
Police in Mississippi watched idly this week as a business owner stole pro-life signs that were displayed on the public sidewalk during an awareness outreach, according to video footage from a Christian ministry. The Ohio-based group Created Equal, which travels the country to educate citizens on the reality of abortion, visited Jackson, Mississippi this week and set up a display outside of the state’s last remaining abortion facility, Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The display was part of the group’s Justice Ride tour, which is being conducted nationwide this summer. Created Equal set up signs both outside of the abortion facility [More]
“Return to the Hiding Place,” a new film based on a true account of Corrie ten Boom’s secret army of untrained teenagers who rescued Jews from the Nazi Gestapo during the Holocaust, will hit theaters Oct. 24 after outperforming big-budget Hollywood showings in its initial release. Based on Hans Poley’s autobiographical book, the movie highlights themes of endurance, perseverance and faith through Poley’s experiences as a student resistance fighter during World War II. The message echoes the story of Anita Dittman, told in her book “Trapped in Hitler’s Hell.” Published in early May, Dittman’s book was accompanied by a documentary [More]
“I’m sure the Western banking interests don’t look kindly on this and view it as a threat. We know from history that Western banksters will resort to force to “solve problems”. Could this be the real reason for the West’s anger towards Russia and China? We’ll see.”  Admin The BRICS group of emerging powers met Wednesday with South American presidents as they justified the creation of a development bank seen as an alternative to Western-dominated global financial organizations. The leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa held closed-door talks in Brasilia with counterparts from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, [More]
Promoted for decades as a “safe” sugar alternative, presumably to prevent or reduce symptoms of diabetes, Splenda (sucralose) has been found to have diabetes-promoting effects in human subjects. The artificial sweetener sucralose, which is approximately 600 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar), and marketed under a variety of brand names, such as Splenda, Cukren, Nevella and SucraPlus, has recently been found to have diabetes-promoting effects in human test subjects, despite containing no calories and being classified as a ‘nonutritive sweetener.’ A new study published in the journal Diabetes Care, lead by researchers at the Center for Human Nutrition, Washington University [More]
You’ve probably heard the buzz already about the many health benefits of probiotics, a word which literally translates to: pro- “for” + biotics “life” — FOR LIFE. But did you know that these remarkable commensal microorganisms, which outnumber our bodily cells 10 to 1, and contribute over 95% of our body’s total genetic information, also break down highly toxic manmade chemicals which your body is either incapable, or only partially capable, of defending itself from? Learn about some of the amazing ways in which ‘good bacteria’ help to detoxify chemicals within our body: Read More  7 Ways Probiotics DETOXIFY Your [More]
One of the benefits of exercise overall is improved sleep quality, but it’s typically recommended that you not exercise within three hours of bedtime so you have adequate time to wind down. If your regular bedtime is midnight, then exercising in the evening, at 9 p.m., for instance, should theoretically not interfere with your sleep (although admittedly this schedule is pushing the limits of your body’s natural circadian rhythm). New research is suggesting, however, that exercise as little as 1.5 hours before bed may not interfere with your sleep either and, in fact, might help you sleep better. Strenuous Exercise [More]
A mom of two young children is wondering: What’s in ice cream sandwiches these days? Christie Watson’s kids love eating ice cream. But one recent morning, she saw an uneaten ice cream sandwich sitting on her patio table. When she looked closer, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. It wasn’t melting. I noticed that my son had left his ice cream sandwich outside,” she said, “and I was wondering why is there still ice cream in there?” The Walmart Great Value sandwich had barely melted 12 hours later….even though it was an 80-degree morning. “I thought that’s quite weird,” [More]
“We have homeless in growing tent cities, vets who can’t get the care they need at VA hospitals, record numbers on food stamps and a government that’s in debt up to it’s eyeballs yet Mr. O, the facilitator of this law breaking invasion wants to spend 50M to give posh accommodations to these illegals. I’ll have to agree with Sarah Palin, time for Mr. O to be impeached for his criminal activities.”  Admin Welcome to America! Barack Obama recently laughed and fist bumped a cashier who moonlights as a crossdresser after he joked with the president that he has sexual relations with men. The Austin Chronicle reports that Obama visited the Franklin Barbecue on Thursday during his visit to the Lone Star State, a popular restaurant in the city that was backed up with its characteristic long line upon his arrival. As Obama made his way to the front of the line to pay for his meal, he was met by cashier Daniel Rugg Webb, who also works as a comedian and musician, and at times [More]
“This just illustrates how ungodly the Democratic party has become. I don’t know how a true Christian can in good conscience vote Democratic.”  Admin An emotionally charged Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday highlighted the escalating controversy between social conservatives and Democrats who are trying to establish a constitutional right to government-funded birth control and unrestricted access to abortion. At issue was the Democrats’ Women’s Health Protection Act, S.1696, a bill that would eliminate nearly all state limitations on abortion and bar states from adopting new ones. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said the bill “would make abortion common, without limit and [More]
A number of scientists in recent years have stated that atheists might not actually exist, and that a belief in God is naturally ingrained into all people, prompting a recent article that is stirring discussion around the world. Last week, Nury Vittachi published a story entitled Scientists Discover That Atheists Might Not Exist, And That’s Not a Joke. In the article, Vittachi cites the works of several researchers, such as Graham Lawton and Pascal Boyer, who argue that belief in God is naturally ingrained into every person. “Cognitive scientists are becoming increasingly aware that a metaphysical outlook may be so [More]
Famed actor and former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson says Americans need be “mindful” of a government that undermines religious freedoms, and on July 18, he has a new movie coming out in theaters illustrating just how dangerous an overzealous government can be. “Persecuted” is a dramatic, fictional thriller about a popular preacher who dares resist a new “religious unity” bill being pushed by powerful players in Congress. The preacher soon finds himself toppled from the pulpit and a fugitive on the run for his life, all for refusing to compromise his freedoms of speech and religion. PERSECUTED – In theaters [More]
The most comprehensive analysis ever performed comparing organic foods with those “conventionally” grown with synthetic pesticides and fertilizers has concluded that organic fruits and vegetables are not just less toxic but actually more nutritious than conventional produce. The difference between organic and conventional produce was so striking, the researchers said, that switching to an all-organic diet might be the nutritional equivalent of adding one or two daily servings of fruits and vegetables to your diet. “The crucially important thing about this research is that it shatters the myth that how we farm does not affect the quality of the food [More]
“The article notes ominous parallels between now and just before the market crashed in 2007.”  Admin The story goes that in the Winter of 1928 Joe Kennedy, father of President John F. Kennedy, went to have his shoes shined. When the shoe shine boy finished he offered Kennedy a tip. “Buy Hindeburg,” he said. Kennedy promptly sold off all of his stock holdings. Within a year the United States saw a massive stock market crash that wiped out the life savings of millions of Americans and ushered in a decade’s long Great Depression. When asked why he sold all his [More]
“This article gives a good explanation of the Cloward-Piven strategy and how it’s being used to take down the American economy.”  Admin In the mid-sixties at the height of the “social revolution” the line between democratic benevolence and outright communism became rather blurry. The Democratic Party, which controlled the presidency and both houses of Congress, was used as the springboard by social engineers to introduce a new era of welfare initiatives enacted in the name of “defending the poor”, also known as the “Great Society Programs”. These initiatives, however, were driven by far more subversive and extreme motivations, and have [More]
More Evidence of Web Manipulation We’ve noted for years that the Pentagon and spy agencies manipulate the Internet – including social media – in order to promote false propaganda and to stifle dissenting information. We’ve also discussed some of the methods used to game popularity on social media sites. A new report from the Intercept adds to our understanding of these tactics: The secretive British spy agency GCHQ has developed covert tools to seed the internet with false information, including the ability to manipulate the results of online polls, artificially inflate pageview counts on web sites, “amplif[y]” sanctioned messages on [More]
The president of a Christian college in Tennessee continues to defend his school’s recent affirmation of the biblical creation account, testifying in court this week that the Bible’s teachings are paramount. As previously reported, Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, issued a clarification to its statement of belief earlier this year. The clarification simply articulated the evangelical Christian school’s commitment to the biblical creation account. “We believe that all humanity is descended from Adam and Eve,” the clarification stated. “They are historical persons created by God in a special formative act, and not from previously existing life forms.” The school’s affirmation [More]
“The way things are  going this hostility toward Christians will only continue to grow as the ungodly become more shrill in their objections when things don’t go their way. These poor lost souls have no fear of God and are blissfully ignorant of the fact Hell is waiting to swallow them up … sad.”  Admin Hostility toward Christians and Christian teachings is growing since the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision, with lawmakers even moving forward with efforts to overturn the protections afforded to religious-owned businesses through legislation. As previously reported, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on June 30 [More]

The only grain I eat, about twice a week, is Bob’s Red Mill Quick Cooking gluten free oats. Consumers are “straining against rising prices on daily essentials to afford summer travel, dining out, and discretionary household purchases – the kinds of purchases that ordinarily keep an economy humming.” That’s what Gallup found when it used a new survey to dive deeper into consumer spending. Its regular monthly survey has been mixed. The average dollar amount consumers spent in June swooned to $91 per day from $98 in May, after a crummy January-April period ranging from $78 to $88 per day. The May spurt seems to have been an outlier that had given rise to a lot of speculation [More]

Hit reality show creator Mark Burnett has had recent success creating biblical movies and television shows, and predicts that his next project, “A.D.: Beyond the Bible,” will be another goldmine. The NBC television series will begin filming in September, and premiere on Easter Sunday 2015. Burnett said it “could become NBC’s biggest series in many, many years.” “Beyond the Bible” begins after the resurrection of Christ, and follows the lives of King Herod’s family, Roman politicians, temple priests, and the disciples. Burnett said the storylines are powerful. “These disciples, after Jesus dies and resurrects, the Holy Spirit comes upon them [More]
“Of course this problem will only get much worse with the flood of illegals now coming across our borders orchestrated by Mr. O and the democrats.”  Admin A Congressional Research Service (CRS) 2012 report revealed that illegal aliens who had been released from U.S. custody onto U.S. soil between 2008 and 2011 were subsequently charged with more than 16,000 crimes, including murders, according to the New York Times. The data is likely to cause concern regarding the recent revelation that 36,000 convicted criminal illegal immigrants, including almost 200 murderers, were released back into the U.S. by immigration officials in 2013. A local official in Maryland recently announced that she is willing to go to jail because of her Christian faith. Carroll County Commissioner Robin Bartlett Frazier decided that she will continue to defy a federal judge’s order against sectarian prayers in board meetings, and is willing to suffer any consequences. On March 26, U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles issued a temporary injunction barring the commissioners from having sectarian prayers before meetings. One day later, Bartlett Frazier defied the ruling. “I think that is an infringement on my freedom of speech and freedom of religion, and I think it’s a [More]

This couldn’t have anything to do with Barack Obama’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and for pro-Sharia jihadists in Libya and Syria, could it? This couldn’t have anything to do with Obama’s manifest hostility to Israel and the sweetheart deal he gave to the Iranians over their nuclear program, could it? Nah. “So it appears the panel and all it’s witnesses were GMO advocates and no dissenting opinions were heard, how nice. Let’s just ignore the evidence for GMO dangers and force them on everyone appears to be the prevailing attitude.”  Admin It’s pretty rare that members of Congress and all the witnesses they’ve called will declare out loud that Americans are just too ignorant to be given a piece of information, but that was a key conclusion of a session of the House Agriculture Committee this week. The issue was genetically modified organisms, or GMOs as they’re often known in the [More]
