Q: “What is Your Jail Like?”

Dear “David”,

Thanks for your letter. It is such a blessing to get mail here! (Prov. 25:25) I’m glad you enjoyed my DVD’s on creation. Please spread them around while I can’t. Thanks also for your questions about my stay in jail. I think my answers will help many so I’ll change your name and answer publicly on a blog site. Please share freely.

1. Did I break a law? No. As many people in the Bible and history can testify – going to captivity or jail does not prove guilt. Joseph (Genesis 37-50) did nothing wrong yet spent 13 years in prison or slavery. David spent over 70 years. Job was tested and his “friends” sure tried to get him to “confess” to some crime or sin but he “maintained his integrity” (Job 2:9-10, 25:7-12, 31:6-40). I’m sure King Herod’s wife would have loved for John the Baptist to confess to some sin so she could justify her evil (Matthew 14:3-12) but he did not. She had him killed to cover her sin! Typical. I suggest that you go to www.2peter3.com and read my 2005 affidavit, and my complaints of misconduct against Judge Rodgers and Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle Heldmyer and then you tell me what law I broke. I would gladly confess and repent if I could be shown what law I broke.
2. Will I keep fighting my case? Yes…for years, if need be. There are still lots of legal options open to me and I intend to pursue them all. (I Tim. 1:8) Even if I don’t win, the world will know the truth. (That is important for the cause of Christ.) Satan’s goal is to get people to not watch my DVDs and get saved. The lies being spread about me in this case are causing that now. ? America is a great nation because brave men and women all through our history have stood up against tyranny and lawlessness. Read The Declaration of Independence where they spelled out publicly and clearly the King’s “sins.” Evil men and women never want their sins exposed (John 3:19) and they often react violently against the one exposing their evil. It took over 7 years and cost over 25,000 American lives, but George Washington and the patriots finally won. I’m glad they didn’t quit!
3. What will I do when I get out? I’ll go right back to my ministry of teaching and preaching on creation and winning souls to the Lord. If I win one of my lawsuits and get some money for damages, I think God wants me to get land in the country to build a huge Dinosaur Adventure Land (DAL). We’ll see. I also plan to add a whole new series of DVDs on the rapture and end times. Millions of God’s children have a false hope that will cause them to “fall away” (II Thess. 2:1-3 KJB) when times get rough.
4. What is this jail like? I’ve been in a lot of places now. ? They are all different. The federal camps are like college campuses. I’d shut down the entire system and offer offenders a biblical option of: fine, beating, or execution if I were king. This county jail has 16 “pods” of about 48 people in each. Since you are a junior in high school, I will assume you have had geometry and let you draw a map of my pod – Pod G – so you can get a better idea. Get some graph paper and let each square be equal to 3 feet. Draw a line from (0,0) up to (0,12) then over to (4,12) then down to (4,0) and back to (0,0). Call this rectangle #1. Divide it into 6 equal sections with horizontal lines. The bottom section by the (0,0) point is the open shower. The next one above is cube #1 where I stay with Randall Owen. He’s a godly young man (26) who will most likely work with me one day in DAL doing computer work & farming. He would love to get letters!
Rectangle #1 has 4 cubes of 2 men each plus the shower. From (4,12) go up to (4,16) then over to (23,16) down to (23,12) then back to (4,12). Call this rectangle #2 and divide it into 8 equal cells of 2 men each.
From (23,12) go over to (24,12) then down to (14,3) the to (10,3) down to (10,0) and back to (4,0). This large area is the “common area” with 12 round tables, 3 phones, and one TV and a stairway up to the top level of cells right above the lower area. Each cell has a 3’ wide by 2’ high window and this is the 2’x 3’ window in the short section between (23,12) and (24,12). The little rectangle around (12,2) is all glass and has the officers’ station so they can watch us at all times. Each cell has jail bars and a sliding door facing the common area.
We are locked in our cells from 11pm to 5am but free to go to the common area all day. Each cell has a bunk bed, sink, toilet, and 24”x 18” steel table.
It is generally very clean and safe here but some men are loud and curse and swear a lot! I have about 7 men that come to my little room 3 times a day for Bible study and prayer. I have made charts & graphs and have them all over my wall. All of the men love it & want more! About 20 of us go down the hall for “church services” about 3X a week as well.
I answer a lot of mail each day, read 2-3 books a week and in the middle of writing another book – my 37th from prison. I am putting in a request that I be released to a half-way house pending the upcoming Nov. 3 trial. I ask all to pray that it is granted AND that they drop this new charge AND that I win all my other issues in the courts. I also ask that God will use all that has happened to me Philippians 1:12-20 style.
