For those Christians waiting for a “Pre Trib” rapture to remove them before the Anti-Christ appears and anything “bad” happens please watch this video to be prepared for what really is going to happen. This video gives an excellent exposition on the Pre Wrath rapture teaching and how it very nicely harmonizes both old and new testament verses on the Day of The Lord and the rapture. Recommended.
James McGrath is an Associate Professor in the Religion and Philosophy department at Butler University, Indiana. He has written a number of scathing blog posts against me and Answers in Genesis. Now, we are reminded time and time again by academics that a university is supposed to be a place for the free exchange of ideas. But McGrath can’t tolerate that view. Recently the BSFM (Butler Staff and Faculty Ministry) sent an invitation to faculty, staff, and students to attend a brown bag lunch presentation by AiG researcher and writer Dr. Terry Mortenson. James McGrath, who can’t tolerate anyone who

Click here to listen. On this episode of ID the Future, listen to the first segment of a recent talk that Casey Luskin gave on ID and law where he unpacks the definition of intelligent design. As Casey points out, intelligent design involves much more than just a critique of Darwinian evolution; it uses reasoning to recognize patterns that show an intelligent origin, similar to methods employed in archaeology and forensic science.
Well, I recently read yet about another example of blatant evolutionary indoctrination in a biology course—but this time it’s happening in a Christian school! Eric Kretschmer, a church youth director in Alaska and a high school AP biology teacher in a Christian school, recently wrote an article for BioLogos explaining how he handles evolution in the classroom. It’s titled “A Tale of Two Worldviews: Being a Biology Teacher in a Christian School.” The BioLogos website states that “Eric Kretschmer is Youth Director at Chapel By The Sea in Anchorage, Alaska, which encompasses teaching, planning and running retreats, and coordinating

March 20, 2013 By Ryan Mauro Comments (45) 244 Print This Post Print This Post The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a group with Muslim Brotherhood origins and an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing trial, recently toured the White House and met with multiple officials. According to the group, Paul Monteiro, Associate Director of the Office of Public Engagement, “cited ISNA as his primary means of outreach to the American Muslim community.” Read More via White House Partners with Muslim Brotherhood Front.
Filed under History, Islam/Sharia Law, Religion, Terrorism, World News Posted on March 20, 2013 0 211 The White House has released what it says is a map of Israel. The only problem is that Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights are missing. An Obama administration video highlighting the president’s plans for his Mideast trip depicts Jerusalem, the Golan and the West Bank – also known as Judea and Samaria – as non-Israeli territory. Well, we just completed the second annual Children’s Ministry Leaders’ Conference here at the Creation Museum. This year, the speakers included Bodie Hodge, Dr. Georgia Purdom, Ruth Carter, and Stacia McKeever. I also spoke. The conference was attended by 250 children’s workers and leaders—representing 26 different states! They came from as far away as Oregon, California, Texas, Florida, and New York. It was great to see a group of leaders so passionate about ministering to children and rescuing our kids from this evil age. Attendees obtained large numbers of resources that will Impact potentially thousands upon thousands of children Read

by Don Batten A simple message on a radio signal from some distant galaxy would be hailed as proof for an intelligent source ‘out there’. Why doesn’t the message sequence on the DNA molecule indicate an intelligent source? I visited China in 1983, at the time when the cult of Mao was just beginning to loosen its grip on that country. However, Communist party cadres still very much controlled everything, and the minders for my visit made out that this was ‘paradise on earth’. “There is no unemployment in China”, they said. Beijing’s English language newspaper was full of positive

by Dr Jonathan D Sarfati Published: 14 March 2013 (GMT+10) Bruce B., a generous supporter of our ministry from Australia wrote to us about yet another compromising churchian publication. This one was called Good News for Adventists from New South Wales, Australia, September 2010, in an article “The Age of the Earth” by one Ritchie Way. But this just shows that the craving for secular intellectual respectability has even infected some academics from the Seventh Day Adventists, a denomination once known for a strong stand on Genesis—and many of their churches still support CMI. See some astute quotes on the

The frightful level of thought control in American academia A review of Free to Think: Why Scientific Integrity Matters by Dr Caroline Crocker Leafcutter Press, Southworth, WA, 2010 Reviewed by John Woodmorappe Dr Caroline Crocker, according to the opinions of many of her students, was an outstanding biology teacher. She was falsely accused of—horror of horrors—teaching creationism in class. Actually, all she had done was point out some of the weaknesses of evolutionary theory. For this, she was first demoted to teaching lab classes, and then—surprise—her contract was shortened and not renewed. Her dismissal for ‘teaching creationism’ was a kiss

Crazy mixed-up animals … what do they tell us? They seem to defy man-made classification systems—but what about the created ‘kinds’ in Genesis? by Don Batten Wikimedia commons: Restle Liger If we can cross-breed a zebra and a horse (to produce a ‘zorse’), a lion and a tiger (a liger or tigon), or a false killer whale and a dolphin (a wholphin), what does this tell us about the original kinds of animals that God created? The Bible tells us in Genesis chapter 1 that God created plants to produce seed ‘after their kind’ (vv. 11, 12). God also created

By Ken Ham Recently, a news item reported on a presentation I made at an AiG-sponsored dessert during the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Tennessee last week. The article on this presentation was taken up by many other Christian news sites, and it was even reported on some secular blogs. A number of people have asked if the actual presentation I gave was recorded on video. It was not, but a similar talk I gave late last year was recorded and now is available through AiG. This DVD deals with the many positions of compromise on Genesis and includes many

Gene expression in eukaryotic cells I conservatively counted 24 recently discovered mechanisms that help regulate gene expression in eukaryotic cells, as reviewed by Moore and Proudfoot.1 Here are just a few of them. Figure 1. Figure 1. Widely regarded as the simplest genome, Mycoplasma gene expression is instead far more complicated than expected. It performs functions that had been considered the sole domain of higher eukaryotes. For example, DNA is transcribed in both the sense and antisense directions, indicating that valuable genetic information is double-stacked. RNA transcripts undergo post-translational modifications, single enzymes have more than one application, and when certain

by Jonathan Sarfati We know today that all it takes to have a day-night cycle is a rotating Earth and light coming from one direction. The Bible tells us clearly that God created light on the first day, as well as the Earth. Thus we can deduce that the Earth was already rotating in space relative to this created light. God can, of course, create light without a secondary source. We are told that in the new heavens and Earth there will be no need for sun or moon (Rev 21:23). In Genesis, God even defines a day and a
