“Leave it to the liberal news media to smear anything Christian even if it requires the usage of deliberate deception, no problem. ”  Admin “I was horrified,” said John Stemberger, chairman of the board of Trail Life USA, a new, rapidly-growing scouting organization that doesn’t allow openly gay members. Stemberger was referring to an Associated Press photograph that accompanied an in-depth story about Trail Life. The image showed a group of young boys gathered in a circle with their hands raised at an unusual angle. The AP’s original caption on the photo said they were reciting the organization’s “creed” during [More]
“By doing this, it appears Disney thinks “gay” Scout leaders would be ok role models for young boys … sad.”  Admin The Boy Scouts of America will no longer receive donations from the Walt Disney Company starting next year after the company decided that it does not supports the scouts’ policy to ban gay adult leaders. Disney hasn’t commented yet, but a Disney spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel that the company does not give grants to organizations that “operate or support activities that are counter to the policies of The Walt Disney Company.” Read More  Disney Pulls Donations to Boy Scouts Following [More]

Sep 8, 2008 … A gecko foot encased in amber has been dubbed the oldest gecko fossil ever discovered, according to researchers from Oregon State University and the Natural History Museum in London.1 The amber deposits containing the remarkably well-preserved fossil, discovered in Myanmar, are said to be around 100 million years old, which would double the “date” of the earliest-known gecko, making it “43 to 56 million years older” than the prior record holder.2 The discovery has been given the customary evolutionary interpretation, but the evidence presented by this gecko foot actually fits much better within a biblical creation [More]
By Creation Moments What makes something right or wrong? Are things that are sometimes wrong always wrong? Most writers and commentators, even most preachers today, have problems with the question of right and wrong. That seems amazing since only a generation or two ago few people had any problems at all with the issue of right and wrong. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

Creation scientists say new genetic findings challenge the evolutionary model and show that humans and chimps did not evolve from a common ancestor. Scientists from MIT and the University of Massachusetts Medical School recently published a report in the journal Genome Research entitled “Evolutionary dynamics and tissue specificity of human long noncoding RNAs in six mammals.” The article compares human long intergenic noncoding RNAs (lincRNAs) with lincRNAs of several mammals—including chimps and rhesus monkeys. According to experts, lincRNAs are critically important to cells’ existence and serve many different roles. Not only are lincRNAs found within cells’ nuclei and cytoplasm, but [More]
Only 24 hours after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case of a homeschooling family fighting deportation to Germany where it would face punishment for not enrolling in a public school, the federal bureaucracy blinked. The Romeikes will be allowed to remain in the U.S. indefinitely, the Department of Homeland Security told the Home School Legal Defense Association, which has been defending the family in court. Michael Farris, HSLDA’s chairman, wrote that a DHS supervisor called a member of his legal team to announced that the Romeike family has been granted “indefinite deferred status.” It means the Romeikes [More]
We’re hearing of women and whole families coming to Christ, which is significant. Normally we would know of individual men but, as the culture places such importance on the family unit, this is a major step forward. One girl is writing hymns and posting them on the Internet. That was where she learned of Christ and has “met” workers, although she has yet to meet other Christians face to face. Two of her sisters also believe in Christ. A Bahraini across the country is gifted in playing local Arabic instruments. He puts her hymns to music and posts them on [More]

Much of the focus of late has been on the toxicity of the main ingredient in Roundup ‘weedkiller,’ namely, glyphosate. And rightly so: far from being ‘practically non-toxic,’ as advertising copy once bragged,[i] the chemical has recently been shown to exhibit toxicity in the parts-per-trillion concentration range, and is being found literally everywhere: in the water, soil, air, rain and our food. But very little research has been performed on its metabolites and so-called ‘inactive ingredients’ – until now. A new study, published in Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology titled, “The effect of metabolites and impurities of glyphosate on human erythrocytes [More]
Vaccines contain much more than just viruses. They also contain a range of ingredients that may include antibiotics, formaldehyde, monosodium glutamate (MSG), bovine fetal tissue, polysorbate and heavy metals like aluminum and the mercury-containing preservative thimerosal. Taking a chance on injecting that cocktail straight into a growing baby’s bloodstream, thus bypassing the majority of the child’s natural immune system and allowing it to go directly into the kid’s tiny developing brain, all to attempt to protect from a disease he or she may never even contract does seem ill-advised at best, and it’s a chance more and more parents are [More]
Strawberries are known to curb cardiovascular disease, cancer, and delay aging. A new study from Italy that supports the heart health benefits of the fruit was published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry. It showed that daily consumption of strawberries may improve blood lipid levels and platelet function by a significant margin. Strawberries are an important fruit in the Mediterranean diet because of their high content of essential nutrients and beneficial phytochemicals, which seem to exert beneficial effects in human health. In fact, studies suggest that the high antioxidant levels in strawberries can help neutralize the negative effects of free [More]
Loads of studies over the years have shown that children who were breastfed score higher on IQ tests and perform better in school, but the reason why remained unclear. Is it the mother-baby bonding time, something in the milk itself or some unseen attribute of mothers who breastfeed their babies? It may be a little of both. Breast milk is the most nutritious feed for the baby, protects them against infections and offers various benefits to the mother, including helping to lose the weight gained during pregnancy and reducing the risk of certain cancers. By Ken Ham At Answers in Genesis, we believe it’s important not only to provide equipping, biblically based teaching but we want to make sure it’s tailored for every audience.
