One of the unsolved mysteries of secular science is why so few dinosaurs are found in rocks from supposed tropical regions, especially the Triassic system rocks. By Ken Ham The media has been buzzing lately with headlines like “Origin-of-Life Story May Have Found Its Missing Link” and “Researchers May Have Solved ‘Missing Link’ Mystery in the Origin of Life.” The question of the origin of life has long been a puzzle to evolutionary scientists. After all, one of the laws of nature is the law of biogenesis; life only comes from other life. This law is confirmed no matter where we look on Earth and, despite years of research, life only ever comes from other life—it has never, not even once, been observed to come from

The recent cover of New Scientist magazine reads “Belief: They drive everything we do. But our beliefs are built on…nothing.” This is an amazing statement by a magazine, supposedly dedicated to science, in that it presents its readers with a philosophical conundrum. How can scientists, who must depend on a strict belief in logic and order, make such a statement? More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

By Ken Ham Secular researchers are frequently realizing that landforms can form suddenly, in a matter of days even, as a result of catastrophic events and that millions of years are not required. Researchers studying Europe’s most powerful waterfall and the canyon containing it reportedly reached the conclusion that they were “created in a matter of days by extreme flooding.” Rather than being the result of slow-and-gradual processes, these researchers believe that a series of extreme floods several thousand years apart formed the waterfall and the canyon catastrophically. They say that these “findings demonstrate the long-term impact that extreme flood

Antibiotics serve as some of the most effective tools modern medicine has to offer. These amazing chemicals save many lives by targeting specific and essential processes in pathogenic bacteria—but antibiotics are losing their magic touch. Their failure to beat back new strains of antibiotic-resistant germs motivates researchers to design or discover new antibiotics. Scientists now reveal reasons why their new discovery brings hope to those hunting for better germ killers. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

“Excellent article documenting the fall of 3 evolutionary icons due to new scientific studies.” Admin The big-picture story of evolution tells that, over millions of years, natural processes produced millions of species from one or a few primitive progenitors. Did this really happen, or did God create separate distinct “kinds” of creatures about 6,000 years ago like Genesis 1 clearly describes? More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
The McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms defines “natural science” as, “Collectively, the branches of science dealing with objectively measurable phenomena…” (2003, p. 1402). A naturalist, then, is a person who believes everything in the Universe must be able to be explained through purely naturalistic processes—with no supernatural help. Everything believed must be based on empirical evidence that is “measurable.” According to the National Academy of Sciences, “The statements of science must invoke only natural things and processes. The statements of science are those that emerge from the application of human intelligence to data obtained from observation and experiment”
