By Ken Ham The Wall Street Journal recently reported the results of a new study, which suggested that schools shouldn’t wait until students are teenagers to teach evolutionary ideas. Rather, they should start in kindergarten. Now, this article’s main point is that younger children are more impressionable than teenagers—so evolutionists need to start convincing children while they’re very young! The article talks about how young children typically respond to questions about how life came to be as we see it today with answers that include a designer. The article’s author writes, “Even babies understand that human actions are ‘teleological’—designed to [More]
By Creation Moments As Christians, we believe by faith. But did you know that even evolutionary scientists believe by their own kind of faith? Scientists early in the previous century, like scientists today, had no evidence that humans had evolved from ape like creatures. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments Category: God’s Design
By Ken Ham I recently blogged about the upcoming movie A Matter of Faith. The film’s trailer has been released, and Roger Patterson of our staff—the author of the Evolution Exposed books and a lead writer of our Answers Bible Curriculum—has been a content consultant on this excellent new film. Opening in theaters across America on September 26, A Matter of Faith will be an excellent witnessing tool and will strengthen the faith of fellow believers. Here’s what the creators of A Matter of Faith had to say about why they wanted to make the film: We wanted to …read [More]

By Creation Moments Did life form all by itself, without a Creator, in some warm little pool of water or a clod of mud many billions of years ago? Some scientists would like us to think so. Over the years, newspaper headlines have declared that life has been created in the laboratory. We are told that life is no mystery and that the chemicals that cause life are common. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments Category: Creation

It’s not a planet, nor a comet, but the faraway object named 2012 VP113 now joins Sedna as the second member of what secularists term the “inner Oort cloud.” This “cloud” presents a mystery—these objects should not even be there. How could they have traveled there, and what do they really represent? More… …read more Read more here: icr.org Category: Creation Science Update

By Creation Moments According to evolution, some explanation for the sun and planets must be found that does not include God as the Creator. By Content Team Yes, something BIG and world class is coming to the Creation Museum. Kids, dads, and moms will be fascinated and intrigued by it. The secularists will really loathe the Creation Museum for having this incredible new addition to this one-of-a-kind facility. Last year, the Peroutka Foundation donated a world-class skeleton of an Allosaurus, called Ebenezer, to the museum—and Ebenezer is going to be unveiled Memorial Day weekend! It will be opened to the public on May 24. Over the past many months, a professional restorer has been working hard on articulating the bones of this incredible fossil. [More]

By Ken Ham At AiG, including inside our Creation Museum, we constantly share with people that their worldview is a starting point for how they interpret scientific evidence about the unobservable past. In a striking exhibit inside the museum, for example, our first display states that both creationists and evolutionists possess the same evidence, but that evidence can be interpreted differently according to a person’s starting point or worldview. In that first museum room, a scene depicts the fossil dig site of a dinosaur. The exhibit shows how an evolutionist researcher and creationist researcher working at the dig site examine [More]

The argument from ‘vestigial organs’ has been refuted many times by creationists, but some evolutionists still think it is a good argument against creation. Halldór M. from Iceland writes: Greetings, I was wondering if you could write an article that refuted this article here: [Web link removed as per our feedback rules—Ed.]. Not sure how scientific they are or if their information is accurate but it seemed like a very updated version of the vestigial argument for evolution. Kind regards, Halldór M. Iceland CMI’s Lita Cosner replies: Dear Halldór, I’ll take these ‘useless organs’ one at a time. Sometimes the [More]
By Ken Ham Here at the Creation Museum, we have a special program this year called “Kids Free in 2014.” With a paying adult, all children 12 and under get into the Creation Museum for free! This has all been part of our ministry theme this year, “Standing Our Ground, Rescuing Our Kids.” The theme is based on Galatians 1:4, which tells us that Christ “gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age.” In the same way, our goal at Answers in Genesis is to equip you to rescue your children from this [More]
By Ken Ham I am so burdened when I think of the thousands and thousands of students who attend Christian colleges like Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan—students who are being influenced at such schools to undermine the authority of Scripture in many ways, starting with the Bible’s first book. Take this announcement on the Calvin College website about an upcoming seminar in June, which is titled “Equipping the Next Generation of Christian Evolutionary Biologists and Paleobiologists: A Seminar for Early Career Scientists”: Christian scientists in evolutionary biology and paleobiology are immersed in a polarized culture, actively promoted by some [More]
