By Creation Moments According to the inflated evolutionary time-scale, the Earth’s moon is 4.5 billion years old. A rocky body the size of the moon would be expected to be geologically active for about 1.5 billion years. This means that for the last 3 billion years the moon has been geologically settled or dead. If it is indeed that old. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
Listen Now. On this episode of ID the Future Logan Gage interviews CSC Fellow John Mark Reynolds, author of the book When Athens Met Jerusalem: An Introduction to Classical and Christian Thought. Listen in as Dr. Reynolds explains the role that classical and Christian thought played in the development of modern science and examines some of the design thinking of ancient philosophers.
By Ken Ham I have been saying for years that the topics of creation, evolution, and the age of earth all relate to an authority issue: who is the ultimate authority in this world, God or man? It’s the battle that has been going on for 6,000 years since the devil tempted Eve stating that “you will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). In Genesis 3:1, the devil attacked the authority of God’s Word, saying to Eve, “Did God really say?” So his first attack in the world was one directed at the Word of God. That attack has …read more

By Creation Moments Radioactive carbon, carbon-14, accumulates in all living things when alive. Once they die, half of any given amount of carbon-14 in a once-living thing decays to non-radioactive carbon in 5,730 years. Thus, by measuring the amount of carbon-14 left in a once-living thing, scientists can get a rough idea of when it died. It can be used to date things that are only thousands of years old, not millions. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham Some AiG supporters have been asking if we would be commenting on a film that releases nationwide this afternoon titled Persecuted. One of our staff members saw a preview of Persecuted last night, and has filled me in on it. Now, the plot does not deal with AiG’s main thrust of biblical apologetics, and so we will not be writing a detailed movie review (as we have done with other movies and television programs). But Persecuted does bring up some intriguing topics that we at AiG have been concerned about for many years in this nation: a

Researchers on the deep-drilling ship Glomar Challenger made a startling discovery back in the early 1970s. They discovered that the Mediterranean Sea is underlain by a thick ‘evaporite’ below hundreds of metres of sediments or sedimentary rock. This ‘evaporite’ is around one kilometre thick and covers about 2.5 million km2, based on seismic data. In the middle of the deeper basins, it could be as thick as 1.5 to 1.8 km. This ‘evaporite’ is one of many examples of ‘saline giants’ that have long been a problem for uniformitarian geology because of the lack of a modern analogue.1 For

“This article covers the answer to give if you are confronted with the “evolution is like a train analogy”, very good. Also watch the video Down, Not Up, Genetic Entropy” Admin … For instance, a challenger might say, ‘Mosquitoes have evolved resistance to DDT in just 40 years. If that’s not evolution happening before our eyes, what is?’ Most Christian responses focus on the amount of change. For instance, they will say, ‘Well, that’s just variation within a kind.’ Or they reply, ‘But the mosquito’s still a mosquito, isn’t it? It hasn’t turned into anything else.’ Both of these replies

By Ken Ham This news should not be a surprise to anyone! I’ve been saying for years that once you abandon the absolute authority of the Word of God, then ultimately anything goes—if you can get away with it. You see, without an absolute authority, there are no restrictions—no absolute rules—everyone does what is right in his own eyes: In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. (Judges 21:25) The news item states, Judge in Australia says incest may no longer be a taboo and the only reason it is

By Ken Ham Is the secular media by and large guilty of trying to censor Christianity from the public eye? I believe it is. Here is an example from the area where our Creation Museum is located. Recently our Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper had a list of several “staycation” attractions (i.e., day-trip “mini-vacations” to take in our region) that were presenting “new offerings.” Yet the immensely popular Creation Museum, which has opened world-class offerings each year to our exhibits since our opening, was omitted. A friend of the Creation Museum wanted to point out this omission, so on Saturday he submitted

‘Bacteria evolve resistance to antibiotics’, ‘Insects evolve resistance to pesticides’, ‘Organisms evolve tolerance to pollutants’—these headlines lead many to think that the molecules-to-man evolutionary process is happening before our very eyes. Schools and universities present such information in a way that convinces many students that scientists have observed evolution and therefore have proved that ‘evolution is a fact’. But closer scrutiny of each of these alleged examples of ‘evolution in action’ reveals a very different story. For example, let’s take the case of worms in the bed of the Hudson River (USA) becoming resistant to industrial pollution. …read more Read
