A landslide on the northern side of Mount St. Helens in Washington state on May 18, 1980 uncorked a violent volcanic eruption of ash, vapor, molten material and pulverized rock. The effects of this one of the most scrupulously documented volcanos in history have reshaped the way geologists think about certain landforms. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

By Creation Moments Try as they might, evolutionists are powerless to account for the microscopic rotary motor that propels bacteria through fluid just like a powerboat skims along the surface of a lake. But if the bacterium’s flagellar motor troubles evolutionists, they must really be puzzled by the fast-moving MO-1 bacterium. After all, its hair-like flagellum isn’t powered by just one motor. It uses seven motors all hooked up in parallel! read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

Scientists discovered an Australian “dinosaur” moth that, if the evolutionary story is to be believed, has undergone virtually no evolution for at least forty million years. They named it Enigmatinea glatzella. The name is quite descriptive, as Enigmatinea means “enigma moth” in Latin. But why is this moth an enigma to evolutionary scientists? Biologists from the U.K. conducted a 10-year-long experiment on common flour beetles to help understand why insects keep on using sexual reproduction despite its inefficiencies. Though they interpreted the results as supporting evolution, a key observation on the immutability of reproductive systems calls that into question. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
By Multimedia On this episode of ID the Future, Casey Luskin shows how the human fossil record contradicts the expectations of neo-Darwinian evolution. Luskin takes a close look at the technical literature surrounding human origins and explains why the evidence does not, despite common claims to the contrary, indicate that humans evolved from ape-like precursors. By Ken Ham I am thankful and honored that the students at a Christian school in Ripplemead, Virginia, presented Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter with enough money to obtain a peg and plank for the life-size Noah’s Ark currently under construction in northern Kentucky. It’s great to see young people who are on board with the mission and message of Answers in Genesis, and it’s wonderful to meet teachers and parents who firmly believe in this ministry and who stand on the truth of God’s Word from the very first verse. One of the school …read more Read

The origin of the continental crust continues to baffle secular geologists who often refer to this mystery as the “holy grail of geology.” Earth’s plates are composed of two distinctly different types of crust: oceanic and continental. Explaining the reason for the unique crust and plates on Earth has been the subject of on-going research and debate for decades. Two recent articles attempt to shed light on the mystery of the continents. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
By Ken Ham Two former astronauts have been in the news recently talking about science and the Bible. Both of these astronauts claim that Christians can accept millions of years and evolution without any problems so that Christians aren’t in conflict with secular “science.” But in saying that, they are ignoring many theological and scientific problems—and once again are confusing observational science and historical science. Dr. Leslie Wickman, a former astronaut who worked as a Hubble Space Telescope engineer, reportedly said that the supposed conflict between “science” and religion is “an illusion of conflict . . . perpetuated by people

By Ken Ham A.D. The Bible Continues moves closer toward the finale with the recent airing of episode eight on NBC TV. Over the last few weeks, we’ve pointed out how disappointed we’ve been with the biblical and historical inaccuracies in the television show. We’ve also noted that the gospel—which is of central focus in the book of Acts—is glaringly absent from this program. This has been characteristic of the whole show so far. Well, talented writers and researchers Avery Foley and Troy Lacey provide the following review. Episode eight of the NBC mini-series A.D. The Bible …read more Read

DNA research identified a Siberian fossil as an ancient dog bone. But its radiocarbon date doesn’t match the accepted evolutionary story for dog origins. The ease with which scientists revised the date of dog divergence from wolf-like ancestry shows that secular dating practices may be much more subjective than their proponents would care to admit. By Ken Ham Now the secular media is working hard to normalize transgender behavior! It’s becoming more apparent every day that our Western cultures have drifted far from a biblical view of morality. Society is no longer basing its thinking on God’s Word but, instead, everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes (Judges 21:25). Nowhere is this more clearly seen than in regard to marriage and gender. With the rampant acceptance of homosexual behavior and same-sex “marriage,” the attention is now shifting toward transgender behavior. The media is working hard to normalize this behavior and make sure

A recent fossil find has been making headlines all over the world. Edgar Nernberg, who lives in Alberta, Canada, was reportedly digging a basement in Calgary when he found a block of sandstone that contained “a school of rare fossilized fish.” Apparently complete fossils are rare in the Paskapoo Formation of Alberta, where these fish were found, so this find is “a 10 out of 10 for significance.” Now the fossil itself is not what has garnered so much press. This exciting find is making headlines largely because it was discovered by …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG

While attending school in England, I was taught that my knee is a hinge joint – a rather simple design, much like the hinge of a door. But I now know that the knee is actually a masterpiece of design that could only have come from the hand of a supremely intelligent Designer and Creator. Right knee seen from the right sideDr. Stuart Burgess, the aerospace engineer responsible for the solar array deployment system on the European Space Agency’s earth observation satellite system, wrote a whole chapter about the human knee in his book Hallmarks of Design. He refers to

Some time ago, we told you about the nineteenth-century paleontologist Louis Dollo, who proposed a law that has become a cornerstone of evolutionary belief. Dollo’s law says that a structure or organ lost during the course of evolution would not reappear in that organism. In other words, evolution never shifts into reverse. Louis Dollo supervising the mounting of an Iguanodon skeletonBut even a recent issue of Smithsonian Magazine points out that Dollo’s law has been broken again and again. For instance, it mentions a tree frog from South America that lost its lower teeth only to re-evolve them after 200
