By Ken Ham The life-size Noah’s Ark project is well underway in northern Kentucky. This will be the largest timber frame structure in the world, and will open sometime in 2016 (date yet to be determined dependent on construction schedules and weather). Here is a short photographic update of the construction: Two of the three towers that will house restrooms, stairs, and elevators—and also anchor the Ark structure for wind load—are well advanced in construction. Two of the towers are now over 60 feet high and soon to reach 7 stories high (76 feet). The major part of the concrete [More]
Of all the scientific disciplines, underwater archaeology may be one of the most fascinating. These researchers examine artifacts our ancestors left behind before global sea level rose and covered them. A newly discovered monolith—a gigantic rock placed in what is today the Mediterranean Sea—confronts a few evolution-based errors about human origins. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

By Ken Ham “The universe is slowly dying,” reports a new astronomical study. Now, the universe is not a living thing that can “die,” but what they mean is something scientists have being saying for years—the universe is winding down (losing usable energy). But, reportedly, “the new findings establish the cosmos’ decline with unprecedented precision.” Apparently they believe that “death does not mean the universe will go away. It will still be there, but its stars and all else that produces light and stellar fire will fizzle out.” And that means, of course, that life on Earth will disappear! So [More]

By Ken Ham We recently received a letter from a sixteen-year-old young lady who discovered Answers in Genesis when she watched my debate last year with Bill Nye “the Science Guy.” Here is her testimony about how her eyes were opened to compromise in her thinking and the need to stand on the authority of God’s Word from the very beginning. Growing up, I never had heard of the idea of a young earth; neither had my parents. My family never believed in molecules-to-man evolution, but we did accept the idea of millions of years because we were indoctrinated with [More]

Jesus lizards literally run across the surface of ponds in Central and South America. According to evolutionary thinking, all reptiles—snakes, turtles, gavials, dinosaurs, pterosaurs, chameleons, skinks, and Jesus lizards—descended from an unknown original reptilian form. What evidence might demonstrate this? Strings of fossils should clearly connect each basic reptile kind back to that supposed key ancestor. It should have interchangeable or adjustable body features that natural forces could have manipulated without disrupting the evolving creature’s essential functions. A newly discovered fossil of a Jesus lizard in Wyoming shows just the opposite evidence. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
