By Ken Ham Due to pressure from “the nation’s largest LGBT advocacy group,” the US Department of Education has released to the public a list of colleges seeking Title IX exemptions to protect their views on marriage and gender. This exemption is perfectly legal for religious institutions to protect themselves from being forced to support something that is strongly opposed to their firmly held religious beliefs. Of course, these college names are being used by secularists to expose and attempt to shame the schools who have sought the exemption. The president of the LGBT advocacy group says, “(We want) to [More]

By Ken Ham Scientists have traditionally divided North American mammoths into several “species” based on physical differences and differing environments. But new research suggests that all of these species of mammoths could successfully interbreed with one another. One of the scientists involved in this study commented, Species boundaries can be very blurry. We might find differences in features of the teeth or skeleton that closely correspond to what we think are real species boundaries. But other features may not correspond to those boundaries, suggesting that what we formerly regarded as separate species are in fact not at all. . . [More]

By Ken Ham As one reporter suggested, the White House may claim to have given this directive to “help school districts avoid running afoul of civil rights laws.” But it appears that what the executive branch is really doing is sending a loud message that schools that “discriminate against transgender students” could risk losing their federal funding. Title IX, a federal law passed in 1972, prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. Now the federal government—really President Obama acting as the lawgiver of the federal government—is now arbitrarily redefining sex to include gender identity. And school districts that don’t agree [More]

By Creation Moments Charles Darwin once wrote of the fossil record, “No organism wholly soft can be preserved.” That’s because evolutionary orthodoxy says that fossils are buried and formed by slow, natural processes. In reality, there are many fossils of soft-bodied animals like jellyfish and squid. That is evidence, of course, of rapid, catastrophic burial at the time of the flood. Darwin rejected the flood and therefore got the science wrong. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham Since that time I have kept wondering why he would ask such a bizarre question. I’ve never in my life been asked anything like that. The Messiah is our Creator and our Savior, Jesus Christ (Colossians 1). But I just discovered why the reporter asked his question. Watch this trailer that is advertising the Channel 7 program Sunday Night that will air on Australian national television this coming Sunday evening, and you’ll find out why the reporter posed the question. By Multimedia On this episode of ID the Future, hear from Michael Flannery, historian and expert on Alfred Russel Wallace, the co-founder of the theory of evolution. Dr. Flannery responds to claims of new-found evidence that Darwin and Wallace stole the theory of natural selection from Patrick Matthews, explaining why these claims have little credibility or historical foundation. By Multimedia On this episode of ID the Future, Dr. James Le Fanu concludes his talk on big science with insight into its increasingly dogmatic tendencies. Science seems to be discovering its boundaries as it becomes laden with more and more indigestible facts. In this third and final segment of the three-part series, Dr. Le Fanu addresses the phenomenon and the paradox of science today as it finds itself limited by materialist assumptions. By Creation Moments A new science called biomimetics is making news. In the past we have talked about how some of man’s designs are often similar to God’s which do the same job. However, in biomimetics, researchers actively seek to study the creation to learn of designs that will solve engineering problems. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
Jesus’ promise to make His disciples ‘fishers of men’ is understood quite plainly. Christians are commanded to cast out the Gospel net and proclaim Jesus as the Saviour of the world so that God may draw people into His Kingdom. Sharing the Gospel/Casting the nets Ideally, sharing the Gospel of Jesus with someone involves communicating two primary components; sin and grace. By Multimedia On this episode of ID the Future, Dr. James Le Fanu explains why this era of big science is both “the best of times and the worst of times.” Despite lavish funding of mega research projects, we are not seeing the same returns that we had a century ago with breakthrough discoveries of the fundamental laws of nature. Has the methodology of science reaches its limits? In Part 1 of this three-part series, Le Fanu explores the significance of science today and the confines and opportunities that it may face. You’ve likely heard the statistics that around 2/3 of children who grew up in Christian homes are leaving the church. And now there are ‘Christian’ organizations trying to ‘deconvert’ our children by causing them to stop trusting the Bible. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:15–16). Read More: Convert children – creation.com

One of the constant themes of Scripture is that nature bears consistent witness to its Creator. That is still true today, despite the best attempts of evolutionary scientists to silence it. The intricacy of even something as humble as the skin of a gecko (p. 40) shows the ingenuity of its Creator. From the lowly pigeon (p. 16), to an octopus that mimics marine predators with astonishing accuracy (p. 12) to the sawfish with its comical rostrum (p. 34), animals have instincts and features that defy evolutionary explanation. Rather, they show they were created by an intelligent Designer who is [More]

On a recent ministry visit to Singapore, I met a pastor who has been involved in church planting in China. He shared how people had been doing Bible studies for 18 months but there had been no conversions to Christ. He asked the non-Christians why they were not responding to the Bible studies and becoming followers of Jesus. They replied that they had learned during their education that the universe and everything in it came about by the natural process of evolution over billions of years and that the Bible just did not make any sense to them; it was [More]

By Ken Ham Pregnant mothers often choose to take a chorionic villus sampling (CVS) test when they are 11 to 14 weeks pregnant. This test analyzes placental cells for genetic abnormalities to predict genetic disorders, such as Down syndrome. Well, research on mouse embryos suggests that even when normal cells and abnormal cells are mixed half and half in the placenta, the baby can still be born perfectly healthy. This happens because the abnormal cells are killed via programmed cell death, and healthy cells replace them. Although the baby mouse itself has replaced the abnormal cells, the placenta still retains [More]
