By Creation Moments One commonly heralded claim to the evolution of man from the animal kingdom is the statement that humans and chimpanzees are more than 98 percent genetically identical. Many people think this claim has been proven, but it has always been an assumption made by believers in evolution. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

An American research team recently reanalyzed a strange fossil the Works Progress Administration excavated in 1940 from the Triassic Otis Chalk in west Texas. This partial skull showed that the animal had a huge, thick dome on its head, much like pachycephalosaurs found in Cretaceous deposits. According to conventional consensus, 100 million years and a vicious extinction event separate the two fossil types. What role did an evolutionary perspective play in this team’s conclusions about this supposedly out-of-place dome-headed fossil? More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

By Creation Moments A flower called the dead-horse arum has a problem. The individual flowers are able to receive pollen for only one day. To make matters worse, its male parts are not mature that day. The next day, the male parts of the flower produce pollen, but the female parts of the flower have shriveled up and cannot receive it. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham Antibiotic resistance in bacteria is one of the biggest problems facing modern medicine, and it’s also often lauded as evidence for evolution. Bacteria have the ability to survive when introduced to an antibiotic that would normally kill them. Recently a popular video claimed that scientists were able to watch evolution happen in just 11 days as bacteria “evolved” resistance. But did they really see molecules-to-man evolution in action? Well, we’ve written about antibiotic resistance many times, and this new study offers no new support for evolution. Evolution involves the addition of brand-new genetic information to create novel

By Ken Ham Since opening on July 7, 2016, we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of people pouring into Ark Encounter, our Noah’s-Ark-themed attraction south of Cincinnati. Now, most of these visitors are actually from outside the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. We routinely have guests from as far away as California and Texas, as well as from many countries around the world. Before the opening of the Ark Encounter, Williamstown, Kentucky, was not a major tourist attraction. The town has few restaurants or amenities to cater to all the tourists now flocking to the area. We anticipated that

By Ken Ham You are invited to join us at the Creation Museum for our seventh annual Deaf Day. And—as an added treat—you can make it a two-day event and come to the Ark Encounter (located just 40 minutes south of the museum) to join us for our first ever Deaf Day at the life-size Noah’s Ark in Northern Kentucky. We’re excited about this upcoming event, October 15–16, and hope many people will take advantage of this special outreach to the Deaf community. Deaf Day at the Creation Museum (October 15) includes American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation of the museum’s

By Creation Moments About 300 years after the Genesis Flood, when all people spoke the same language, they decided to work together to build a great city. Working together for a common goal is called “social intelligence.” Do animals practice social intelligence? Of course, there are the bees, the ants and the beavers, but even bacteria – among the lowliest of all creatures – also show social intelligence! read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham One of the blessings of working at the AiG ministry is to attend our Tuesday morning and Thursday morning staff meetings. Usually we have an outside speaker, typically a pastor, who comes to encourage us as we start the ministry day. We also use the meetings to share major announcements with our staff. A highlight of any all-staff meeting is to be blessed by Christian musical groups that will hold a mini-concert to bless our staff. That was the case when the growing-in-popularity Peyton sisters (Rachael, 12, and Riley, 14) came before our staff last week. Their

We’re now seeing attempts–such as a DARPA project that seeks to develop a prosthetic hand that can feel–to mimic the natural phenomenon of touch in medical technology. Simmons explains how touch works, and examines the possibility of scientists being able to imitate the design of sensation for technological use. By Ken Ham Up until very recently, all giraffes were considered one species with up to nine subspecies. But new research in genetics claims there are four distinct species of giraffe—the southern giraffe, northern giraffe, reticulated giraffe, and Masai giraffe. Apparently these new species are genetically “as distinct as brown bears are from polar bears.” These four giraffe species and the okapi are all members of the giraffe kind that God originally created. God designed each kind with a massive amount of genetic variability in their DNA. This incredible variety allows them to spread out and fill different environments all

By Ken Ham As scientists study God’s creation, they never cease to be surprised by what they find. The newest surprise comes from a well-preserved fossil of a Labrador-sized dinosaur, the Psittacosaurus. Detailed examination of this fossil reveals that this dinosaur “dressed in camouflage.” This dinosaur was buried with skin and even pigments intact. This means it had to be buried extremely rapidly before it had a chance to decay. Of course, the conditions of the global Flood of Noah’s day were perfect for rapidly burying organisms. As the floodwaters washed over the continents, miles of sediment were ripped up
