By Ken Ham Naturalistic scientists disagree on the age of Saturn’s rings. NASA’s Cassini spacecraft had a planned crash into the planet in 2017. The data that it gave was interpreted as evidence that Saturn’s pristine rings formed just 200 million years ago in the evolutionary timescale of our solar system. But a new study disagrees. It states that “processes that preferentially eject dusty and organic material out of Saturn’s rings could make the rings look much younger than they actually are.” This study says the rings are 4.5 billion years old. So exactly how old are Saturn’s rings? …read [More]

By Ken Ham Twenty-five years ago this month, I started a radio program called Answers with Ken Ham. This program, which was originally ninety seconds, was designed to give short answers to the tough questions of our day and emphasize biblical authority and the gospel, challenging people to build a more biblical worldview. And it’s still doing that, by God’s grace, a quarter of a century (and over 6,500 programs!) later. The reach continues to expand, lives continue to be touched, and people continue to be encouraged with the truth of God’s Word. Many years ago, I was told that [More]

By Andrew McDiarmid On this episode of ID the Future, the second in a series, host Andrew McDiarmid reviews three more displays of design in nature. Researchers in Scotland have shown that beavers, once considered by some as nuisances good only for their pelts, are actually great biodiversity engineers. The water lily is another marvel of hydraulic engineering that’s inspiring new designs for desalination plants. And the familiar walnut shell is made of cells interlocked more tightly than any 3-D puzzle ever invented, making it tough enough to need a hammer to open. It’s inspiring new packaging design ideas. By Ken Ham We’re just one month away from our annual Creation College Expo, taking place at the Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky (Williamstown), November 1–2, 2019. This free event for students features Christian colleges from across the nation, all of which take a stand on a literal Genesis, a young earth, and a global Noah’s flood. And this expo includes free admission to the Ark Encounter for all registered students (and discounted tickets for their immediate family) and a free concert on November 1 from Jon Micah Sumrall of the group Kutless! This expo gives you the following opportunities: [More]
By Ken Ham The topic of climate change is always in the headlines. But it’s been dominating the news lately because of the Climate Change Summit and the climate change protests from young people around the world. These young people are rallying to demand that governments take their future seriously and to enact radical policies to limit carbon emissions. Some (including teenagers) are even signing a pledge that they won’t have children until the government does something about climate change! Is this climate change hysteria justified? Since the 1960s, scientists and government leaders have been warning of catastrophic environmental failure, [More]

By Ken Ham Each year, millions of kids in America hit the streets dressed as princesses, superheroes, or their favorite character. And many will come knocking on your door, looking for treats. But have you considered using this opportunity to share the hope of the gospel with your neighbors, and not just hand out candy and other treats? One way you can make the most of this once-a-year opportunity is by giving gospel tracts to children and/or their parents, along with candy and treats. On our online store, we offer a variety of options, including “million dollar bill” tracts “Million [More]

By Ken Ham I recently had the privilege of meeting the very vocal pro-life advocate, Abby Johnson, at the Many of you know Abby Johnson as a pro-life advocate, whose real-life story inspired the film Unplanned (a movie I highly recommend you see, despite its unwarranted R-rating). She was known as the youngest Planned Parenthood director ever, had two abortions herself, and counseled many women to end their pregnancies . . . until she observed an abortion for herself. She then became a pro-life advocate who has dedicated her life to saving the lives of babies and exposing the evil [More]

New human organs are rarely discovered, but that’s what several astute scientists recently accomplished at Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet’s Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics.1 The organ is a loosely connected mesh of cells in the skin’s nervous system that are sensitive to painful conditions straining the skin. This research also demonstrates fundamental design principles of biological sensors.More… …read more Source: icr.org
By Ken Ham No, I didn’t make this up. Union Theological Seminary in New York City actually held a chapel service where students confessed and prayed to a bunch of potted plants. It’s often claimed that we are in the throes of a climate emergency, but this “confession” time actually shows these students are in the throes of a spiritual emergency! Maybe they need to change the school’s name to “Union Pagan Seminary.” This exercise of confessing to plants is part of a class the university offers that, in part, contains “liturgical responses to the state of the climate.” They [More]
By Ken Ham In just a couple of months we trust we’ll begin our $2 million upgrade of the planetarium at the Creation Museum. Our planetarium has been a favorite since the museum opened in 2007. But what was state-of-the-art 12 years ago is now aging and needs to be replaced (we can’t even find some parts for the projector anymore!). We’re excited to upgrade the planetarium with a new laser projector, tilted dome, and even better acoustics so guests for years to come can vividly see how the heavens give glory to their Creator. We’re excited to announce that [More]

By Ken Ham Our 2019 Creation College Expo just got better! This event is taking place November 1 and 2, 2019, at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY (south of Cincinnati). It’s a wonderful opportunity for college-minded students to meet one-on-one with representatives from across the nation to talk about their school, programs, and more. And each school present is a Christian college or seminary that takes a stand on a literal Genesis and a young earth—and those schools are rare! But that’s not all you’ll enjoy at this event.
