By Ken Ham I believe the greatest investment we can ever make is this: one that affects hearts and minds for eternity! We at Answers in Genesis are so thankful for our dedicated donors who partner with us to help us spread the message of biblical authority and reliability, and the gospel. This is so important in a time when secularists and the media are increasingly attacking the truth and accuracy of God’s Word, especially in Genesis. And we can only do what we do in equipping the church because of the generosity of our supporters. Now, did you know [More]

By Ken Ham The life-size Noah’s Ark project is well underway in northern Kentucky. This will be the largest timber frame structure in the world, and will open sometime in 2016 (date yet to be determined dependent on construction schedules and weather). Here is a short photographic update of the construction: Two of the three towers that will house restrooms, stairs, and elevators—and also anchor the Ark structure for wind load—are well advanced in construction. Two of the towers are now over 60 feet high and soon to reach 7 stories high (76 feet). The major part of the concrete [More]

By Ken Ham “The universe is slowly dying,” reports a new astronomical study. Now, the universe is not a living thing that can “die,” but what they mean is something scientists have being saying for years—the universe is winding down (losing usable energy). But, reportedly, “the new findings establish the cosmos’ decline with unprecedented precision.” Apparently they believe that “death does not mean the universe will go away. It will still be there, but its stars and all else that produces light and stellar fire will fizzle out.” And that means, of course, that life on Earth will disappear! So [More]

Discussing her new book, Finding Truth: Five Principles for Unmasking Atheism, Secularism, and Other God Substitutes, Pearcey explains how evolutionary materialism freeloads from religion. By Creation Moments From time to time we hear about scientific studies showing that Christians live longer and healthier lives than unbelievers. We also hear of studies proving that prayer really does work. By Ken Ham We recently had a special guest tour the Creation Museum, and he loved it. James MacDonald, a popular Bible teacher heard daily on his nationwide radio program Walk in the Word and pastor of the huge Harvest Bible Chapel near Chicago, and six leaders from his church came and toured the museum recently. Harvest Bible Chapel has multiple campuses across the Chicago area, as well as about 100 affiliate churches around the United States and Canada. Harry is an enthusiastic supporter of AiG, the Creation Museum, and now the Ark Encounter, and he had a great time touring the Ark property and viewing the construction with two of the ladies who work here at AiG. By Ken Ham We recently received a letter from a sixteen-year-old young lady who discovered Answers in Genesis when she watched my debate last year with Bill Nye “the Science Guy.” Here is her testimony about how her eyes were opened to compromise in her thinking and the need to stand on the authority of God’s Word from the very beginning. Growing up, I never had heard of the idea of a young earth; neither had my parents. My family never believed in molecules-to-man evolution, but we did accept the idea of millions of years because we were indoctrinated with [More]

By Ken Ham We pray this would never happen in America—but it’s reported to be happening in China as you will read below. Meanwhile, the free exercise of Christianity is definitely under threat in the US, as I have posted about many times. A recent Associated Press news report stated, Authorities in southeastern Zhejiang province are believed to be under a two-month deadline to remove crosses from the spires, vaults, roofs and wall arches of the 4,000 or so churches that dot the landscape of this economically thriving region. In a rare move, even China’s semiofficial Christian associations—which are supposed [More]
By Ken Ham When visiting tourist sites or going on tours in Australia, one is reminded again and again of the intense evolutionary indoctrination the public receives. Over and over again we heard “millions of years” and “evolution” from tour guides (and we also saw these terms on numerous signs). But such guides just quote what they’ve read somewhere or been told to say—they can’t defend their position. And some of them make the most ludicrous statements. On a river cruise in far North Queensland looking for crocodiles in the wild (and we found some—see photographs) the guide said, “Crocodiles [More]
By Creation Moments If you have never opened a bottle of wine, let me give you a little instruction on how to use a corkscrew. First, you puncture the cork with the corkscrew’s tip. Then you turn the handle, forcing the metal screw deeper and deeper into the cork. Finally, when it is deep inside the cork, you pull on the handle of the corkscrew, removing the cork from the bottle and spilling wine all over your white shirt! read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
