By Discovery Institute In 1966, MIT engineers and eminent biologists met at the Wistar Institute to discuss problems with evolutionary theory. Now, at the 50th anniversary of the conference, CSC senior fellow and philosopher of biology, Dr. Paul Nelson, describes what happened at the symposium called “Mathematical Challenges to the Neo-Darwinian Interpretation of Evolution.” Your browser does not support playing Audio, please upgrade your browser or find our podcast on podOmatic Download Episode …read more Read more here: id the future
By Ken Ham Mothers are a vital part of raising godly children. When I’m out speaking at conferences, I constantly meet mothers who are dedicated to ensuring that their children are taught to think biblically. They truly are on the front lines of fighting for the hearts and minds of the next generation. Here at the Creation Museum, we understand the incredible value of mothers and want to show our appreciation for the hard work that they do. So this Mother’s Day, we’re giving free museum admission to all mothers—this includes grandmothers and, of course, pregnant mums (because life begins [More]
By Ken Ham I’ve been pointing out for years that secular humanism is the reigning religion in the public schools of Western nations, and that this false teaching is deceiving many young people. In a recent interview, a journalist and author also laments the replacement of Christianity with humanism. He says that, despite the idea that public schools can’t teach religion to students, “schools do try to force a religion on children, but it’s not Christianity; rather, it is humanism . . . people think humanism’s not a religion. Well, it is a religion. It has been found …read more [More]
By Ken Ham Researchers studying chimpanzees in West Africa discovered a previously unknown behavior: chimpanzees, particularly the males, throw rocks at trees and into holes in trees. This throwing is accompanied by, among other things, hooting. These researchers suggest that perhaps this is evidence of ritualized behavior in chimpanzees. They also believe chimp behavior can shed light on human ancestry and how we supposedly developed religious rituals. In a blog post, one of the researchers involved in the study says, “It could be more symbolic than [a dominance display]—and more reminiscent of our own past. Marking pathways and territories …read [More]
By Creation Moments We have all heard the claims – and school textbooks love to include it – that humans and chimpanzees are about 99 percent genetically identical. However, that claim evaporates when the details of what is being compared are examined. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham Now, I’ve mentioned the John Templeton Foundation before. It has given several grants to the BioLogos group to help promote evolution in churches and among Christians in general. BioLogos’ work—and the grant money it has received—has helped to undermine the truth of God’s Word by encouraging Christians to compromise on God’s Word with evolutionary teaching. I find it interesting that there seems to be no outcry from the Christian community about the Templeton Foundation and its funding of BioLogos. While this $8.1 million grant is not tied directly to BioLogos, the project is still designed to …read [More]

By Creation Moments A peregrine falcon diving toward its prey reaches a relative speed of 200 body- lengths per second. This is close to the 207 body-lengths that the space shuttle travels as it enters our atmosphere. Thus, the peregrine falcon was thought to easily be the fastest dare-devil bird on Earth. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham A federal judge ruled in January that Kentucky could not deny the Ark attraction access to a future rebate of sales tax (it is not money taken out of the state budget to build the Ark) just because it happens to be a Christian attraction. The judge’s decision paved the way for yesterday’s vote. Rather than give you a full update on the unanimous approval, I encourage you to read this article in the Courier-Journal, the state’s largest newspaper. We are pleased to note that a secular media …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG

By Ken Ham They urge “educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts—not ideology—determine reality.” They go on to give eight reasons why gender ideology harms children. They argue that conditioning children to accept that being transgender is normal and healthy is “child abuse” and that “a person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.” Gender ideology does harm children because it teaches them something that goes completely against God’s good [More]

By Multimedia On this episode of ID The Future, host David Boze interviews filmmaker Fred Foote, writer and producer of the new feature-length drama Alleged, which seeks to tell the real story behind the infamous 1925 Scopes Trial in Dayton, Tennessee that pitched Darwinian evolution against belief in God. After seeing the 1960 film Inherit the Wind, starring Gene Kelly and Spencer Tracy, Foote did his own research into the trial and discovered that Inherit the Wind was “almost exactly wrong” on many crucial points. So he set out to make another movie that would set the record straight and [More]
By Ken Ham Well, my friend Buddy Davis—a singer, songwriter, dinosaur sculptor, workshop leader, and so much more—recently received the following testimony: I just wanted to write to say thank you for your ministry! Your songs have taught our family for years, and have been a great way to share the truth of God’s creation! I also wanted to tell you that one of our daughters accepted Christ as her savior a while back, and God used one of your songs (“Come to Me Little Children”) to touch her heart, and bring her to realize she needed a savior! <a [More]
