WHY YOU SHOULD BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY – AN ANSWER TO JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES

This particular program features guest Christian author & apologist Robert M. Bowman, Jr. speaking on the subject of his book, "Why You Should Believe in the Trinity: An Answer to Jehovah's Witnesses" published by Baker Book House, Grand Rapids, Michigan. As Robert Bowman states in his book, "Trinitarians (people who believe in the Trinity) hold very firmly and without compromise to belief in one God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are NOT three Gods (Mormons, who believe that they are three Gods, claim to believe in the Trinity but make it very clear that they reject the traditional doctrine of the Trinity in any form). The Athanasian Creed makes this point repeatedly: "And yet they are not three Gods, but one God ... So we are forbidden by the universal faith to say, there are three Gods or three Lords." The God worshipped by trinitarians is the one and only God; they recognize no other gods at all. Jesus is not another god alongside God: he is God, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit." This radio broadcast includes an actual debate with an anti-Trinitarian advocate during the second half of the show. The Bible clearly teaches the doctrine of the Trinity from start to finish. Without going into great detail here, a few examples: 1. The Doctrine of the Trinity: The Incarnation of Jesus - Luke 1:35, The Baptism of Jesus - Matthew 3:16-17, The Great Commission - Matthew 28:19, The Resurrection of Jesus - Acts 3:26, 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (by the Father), John 2:19-21, John 10:18 (by the Son), Romans 8:11, 1 Peter 3:18 (by the Holy Spirit); Creation of the World - Psalm 100:3, Nehemiah 9:6 (by the Father), John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17 (by the Son), Job 33:4, Job 26:13, Genesis 1:2 (by the Holy Spirit); Each Person of the Trinity is Eternal - Psalm 93:2 (Father), Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6 (Son), Hebrews 9:14 (Holy Spirit); All Three are called God - 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 6:27 (Father), John 1:1, 20:28, Hebrews 1:8 (Son), Acts 5:3-4 (Holy Spirit). Many non-Christian religions & cults deny the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity such as the Jehovah's Witnesses (founded by a man named Charles Taze Russell whose unincorporated "Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society" was formed in 1881 & later incorporated & chartered on December 13, 1884). This radio program as well as Robert Bowman's book refutes the false claims made by these groups against the Biblical nature of the Godhead.
