Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel: CANSWERSTV; websites: BibleQuery.org, HistoryCart.com, & MuslimHope.com) reviews the Biblical doctrine of Hell with teaching elder & author Rob Zins, ThM of Dallas Theological Seminary. The entire one hour program can be seen on Google Video, search “Larry Wessels” on their homepage. Hell is one of the most unpopular doctrines in the Bible (only “predestination” may be a doctrine more unpopular than Hell). A definition of Hell is as follows, “An eternal furnace of fire both material & spiritual where the inhabitants of Hell are tortured in mind & body by God, by every rational being in the universe, & the damned themselves (their memories & lusts torture them as well as their own active consciences). The damned in Hell would give, if they could, the world & all that is in it to have the number of their sins reduced by one.” The Bible contains 1800 verses directly attributed to Jesus & of that number 13% relate to the judgment of God & damnation in Hell. Half of all the parables that Jesus spoke in the Bible relate to judgment & damnation (in Hell). Hell is a PLACE of ETERNAL TORMENT & is described as: Everlasting Fire (Matt. 25:41, Matt. 13:49-50), Eternal Punishment (Matt. 25:46, Rev. 20:10), Outer Darkness (Matt. 8:12, Matt. 22:13, Jude 13), Everlasting Destruction (2 Thess. 1:9, 2 Thess. 2:10-12), Lake of Fire (Rev. 19:20, Rev. 20:14-15); Hell is PREPARED for: the Devil
