When CMI speakers are out speaking they are often challenged by fellow Christians that have become convinced of evolution and claim that God used evolution to create. Richard and Calvin show what atheists and Bible sceptics say about this position (theistic evolution). Does adding millions of year of evolution to Genesis really help when sharing the Gospel? Watch and see! By Greg Stier , Christian Post Guest Columnist March 2, 2013|12:08 pm God has blessed me with the privilege of speaking to groups of teenagers for the last twenty five years or so. From small youth groups to medium sized camps to arenas full of students I have known the thrill and terror of trying to get and keep the attention of adrenalin-filled, twitchy teenagers. Here are seven lessons I’ve learned when it comes to getting and keeping their attention: 1. Hook them with humor then impact them with truth. During the first 5 to 10 minutes of my talk [More]
Great minds of the past had no difficulty with the concept of a young earth shaped and reshaped by catastrophic forces, especially the upheavals associated with Noah’s Flood. Today, we have been so thoroughly saturated with the ‘slow and gradual’ philosophy that when we look at vast cliffs, landscapes and boulders we tend to immediately associate them with very long ages. The pictures in this article are of Surtsey, an island which was born in only days from a huge undersea volcanic eruption off Iceland in the North Atlantic in 1963. It shows features which most people would think take [More]
Researchers studied some photographs taken by the NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and now think that a former lake was once on the red planet's surface. They believe that the water may have come from underground, which leads them to think that life may still live, and have originated, below the surface. More…
A Russian resident recently discovered a metal bar gear embedded in some coal. The obvious answer to how the gear got there is that the coal formed around the abandoned metal piece not long ago. But since secularists maintain that the coal is millions of years old, some think that the gear came from ancient aliens instead. More…
The frightful level of thought control in American academia A review of Free to Think: Why Scientific Integrity Matters by Dr Caroline Crocker Leafcutter Press, Southworth, WA, 2010 Reviewed by John Woodmorappe Dr Caroline Crocker, according to the opinions of many of her students, was an outstanding biology teacher. She was falsely accused of—horror of horrors—teaching creationism in class. Actually, all she had done was point out some of the weaknesses of evolutionary theory. For this, she was first demoted to teaching lab classes, and then—surprise—her contract was shortened and not renewed. Her dismissal for ‘teaching creationism’ was a kiss [More]
Every so often, another story comes up in the news about animals that are supposedly demonstrating a more human intelligence because of their ability to use tools. On the Answers in Genesis website alone, we’ve collected and commented on a variety of reports about animals using tools. From spear-making chimpanzees to crows that can use tools to their advantage, evolutionists love to use these as alleged proof that animals are closer to human intelligence than we think. For example, in 2005, we wrote about widely circulated stories of gorillas in the wild using tools in an article titled Gorillas …read [More]

Many Christians may be blissfully unaware of a steady but powerful movement that is radically deconstructing and re-interpreting the Christian faith into something that isn’t Christianity. You may think that you and your church is immune but think again! As well as effecting whole churches this movement is also effecting many individuals in otherwise biblically traditional churches through a wide range of books, DVDs, and seminars etc. You need to educate yourself about this and be aware.
This is an introductory series entitled “Understanding Muslim Minds and the Islamic Faith” presented by Dr Steve Morrison and Larry Wessels of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (see websites: MUSLIMHOPE COM, BIBLEQUERY ORG & HISTORYCART COM) part 3. The following names of Christ in the Bible demonstrate the point: Jesus, Prince of Peace, Mighty [More]

For more information and resources visit: www.reasonablefaith.org In September 2012, during his visit to The University of St Andrews in Scotland, Dr William Lane Craig delivered a lecture entitled “Is The Material World All there Is?” followed by audience Q&A. In this lecture Dr Craig outlined seven reasons to think that the material world is not all there is but, quite to the contrary, that the material world contains “signposts of transcendence” pointing towards the truth of Christianity. Though the intention was to video tape the entire lecture, a technical error meant that the last half hour was only captured [More]
Based on the fact that the eruption of Mt. St. Helens formed a canyon in a very short time period in the early 1980s, as well as other evidence, there is good reason to believe the Grand Canyon was formed over a very short time period. The evidence also shows it is preposterous to think the Grand Canyon could have been formed slowy over millions of years by the Colorado River.
