Often we publish feedback from skeptics or questioners who don’t believe biblical creation. But for every skeptic who writes in, we get many positive comments from people expressing appreciation for the various aspects of CMI’s ministry. For instance, Tilas K. from Russia wrote: Read More: Creation encourages believers – creation.com
You’ve likely heard the statistics that around 2/3 of children who grew up in Christian homes are leaving the church. And now there are ‘Christian’ organizations trying to ‘deconvert’ our children by causing them to stop trusting the Bible. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:15–16). Read More: Convert children – creation.com
One of the constant themes of Scripture is that nature bears consistent witness to its Creator. That is still true today, despite the best attempts of evolutionary scientists to silence it. The intricacy of even something as humble as the skin of a gecko (p. 40) shows the ingenuity of its Creator. From the lowly pigeon (p. 16), to an octopus that mimics marine predators with astonishing accuracy (p. 12) to the sawfish with its comical rostrum (p. 34), animals have instincts and features that defy evolutionary explanation. Rather, they show they were created by an intelligent Designer who is

On a recent ministry visit to Singapore, I met a pastor who has been involved in church planting in China. He shared how people had been doing Bible studies for 18 months but there had been no conversions to Christ. He asked the non-Christians why they were not responding to the Bible studies and becoming followers of Jesus. They replied that they had learned during their education that the universe and everything in it came about by the natural process of evolution over billions of years and that the Bible just did not make any sense to them; it was

Carbon-14 is an unstable form of carbon that decays into nitrogen 14 at a measured rate—and this forms the basis of carbon-14 dating. In 2003 a group of researchers performed an unusual test on 10 coal samples obtained from Pennsylvania State University. The researchers wanted to see if carbon-14 could be detected in the coal samples. This test might be considered ‘unusual’ because carbon-14 decays relatively fast, and should not be detectable after a maximum of 90,000 years. Yet the coal samples tested came from strata allegedly ranging in age from 37 million to 318 million years. The laboratory results

How do fish survive in Antarctic waters without freezing? The answer is that their blood plasma has lots of ‘antifreeze’ protein that bind to ice and prevent the crystals from growing and thus causing damage. Some evolutionists claim that this is an example of ‘evolution in action’ because new DNA code has been created that codes for the antifreeze protein. But does this really support molecules-to-man evolution?
Stromatolites are regarded by many as the oldest fossils on earth. They are interpreted as the remains of colonies of blue-green algae, or more accurately, cyanobacteria. The oldest ones are claimed to be 3.5 billion years old. Within this evolutionary perspective, one would expect these colonies to have radically changed, but remarkably, they are essentially the same today. Stromatolites, therefore, are classic examples of living fossils.
Astronomers have discovered what appears to be the largest feature in the observable universe, and—according to the Big Bang model—it shouldn’t even exist. A team of Hungarian and U.S. astronomers say they have discovered a huge ring of nine gamma ray bursts (GRBs) that is five billion light years across. The scientists detailed their findings in “Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.” GRBs are thought to be the result of massive stars collapsing into black holes. Because black holes are typically found inside galaxies, astronomers say the ring of GRBs is evidence of a gigantic galaxy ring. All nine

A team of American and British scientists has published a new report detailing how natural selection, “the engine of evolution,” can actually prevent evolution from happening—a potentially devastating setback for evolutionists. Natural selection, a term first popularized by Charles Darwin, plays a fundamental role in the theory of evolution. In his infamous book “The Origin of Species,” Darwin proposed that natural selection “leads to divergence of character and to much extinction of the less improved and intermediate forms of life.” Read More Natural Selection, ‘Engine of Evolution,’ May Actually Inhibit Evolution, Scientists Find | Christian News Network.

“Basically, all charges have been dropped so Kent should be released in the near future.” Admin The U.S. district judge that has been overseeing the case of an imprisoned creation science evangelist has granted a motion for acquittal surrounding a contempt charge involving the contesting a property lien while incarcerated. As previously reported, Kent Hovind, the founder of Creation Science Evangelism out of Pensacola, Florida, had been fighting charges of mail fraud and contempt for fighting liens against ministry property that had been seized by the government several years ago. A jury deadlocked on three of the four charges in

“Ken Ham discusses the lawsuit Answers In Genesis is involved in with the state of KY with a lawyer involved in the case.” Admin
Ken Ham, the founder and president of the Kentucky-based ministry Answers in Genesis (AIG), is expressing concern over new demands that the state is requiring of its proposed Ark Encounter, namely its requirement that the ministry not engage in “religious preference” in its hiring—meaning that it can’t refuse applicants simply because they are non-Christians. “AIG as a religious organization has the legal right to hire people who believe in our Christian faith—which is a right for any religious organization, whether Christian or not,” he said in the four-minute video posted to Facebook on Saturday. Ham said that the matter became

A new Christian film is challenging secular claims that Earth is an insignificant cosmic speck and reveals evidence that suggests it and its inhabitants were specially created. “The Principle” is a new movie currently showing at select theaters across the country. The film, which stars several top scientists, explores Earth’s position in the universe and attempts to answer the question, “Is our planet unique and significant?” Most secular scientists have long claimed that Earth is ultimately an insignificant speck in the universe, with no special or unique characteristics. This perspective, known as the “Copernican Principle,” implies that our planet inhabits

In one sense, Genesis 1:1 is the most important verse in the Bible: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” If we can believe this verse, no other verse in the Bible should be a problem. For example, if God can create the whole universe, then raising people from the dead and causing a virgin to conceive would be easy beyond words. Also, in this one verse, all other false religions are rejected:1 Conversely, if we can’t trust this verse, then nothing else in the Bible makes sense. Since this verse is so foundational, it is not

If that’s not evolution happening before our eyes, what is?’ Most Christian responses focus on the amount of change. “One more example of a marvel of design in nature. Such precision could hardly be the product of random chance.” Admin Computerized tomography (CT) scans use computing power to compile two-dimensional X-ray images into a three-dimensional view, and researchers are optimistic that a new form of high-resolution CT scanning at the molecular level will give “scientists precious new information about how Mother Nature forms shells, bones, and other hard structures.”1 They hope to learn how to mimic the strength of these natural structures in the manufacture of similar man-made materials. Encyclopædia Britannica claims the earliest known rodents come from the upper Paleocene (supposedly about 57 million years ago) of North America, yet it admits these animals ‘had already acquired all of the diagnostic features of the order.’ In other words, these ‘early’ animals were easily recognizable as rodents. Comprising 50% of all mammal species, rodents should be prolific in the fossil record, and evolutionists should expect to find numerous examples of transitional species. However, Britannica states: ‘Rodents are relatively poorly represented in collections of fossils, in spite of their great abundance at the present time.’2 This situation is clarified with
