 A pastor convicted for demonstrating during a homosexual “pride” parade in Texas plans to appeal that ruling because it was based on what authorities feared he “might” say.

Pastor Joey Faust, who is now with Long Run Baptist Church in Missouri, headed the demonstration in Fort Worth in which participants were holding signs and quoting Bible verses on homosexuality. Officers set up what they called a “skirmish line,” which was really a barricade; and when the group tried to cross the line they were arrested and then convicted of interfering with police duties.

An appeals court reversed that ruling, but now the highest appeals court in the state has found them guilty again.
