Approximately 1,500 pastors and other Christian leaders are in the nation’s capital this week to connect with lawmakers and focus on spiritual revival and patriotic renewal.

 

The fifth annual Capitol Connection, sponsored by Awake America Ministries, features pastors and legislators joining together to pray and be encouraged.

 

Dr. Paul Chappell, senior pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church in California and president of West Coast Baptist College, is one of the key note speakers for the three-day event that kicked off Monday. He is challenging pastors to be the faith leaders that God has called them to be even though the world may deem that foolish.
