According to news reports, the Obama administration has released new guidelines that force all women’s shelters in America that receive federal funding—even those that are faith based—to admit men who identify as women. Apparently there was previously a provision that allowed shelters to make the determination on a case-by-case basis, but no longer.

Some individuals have expressed concern that male abusers or predators can take advantage of this new law to enter women’s shelters, which are supposed to be safe havens for those who have been victimized. This new law ignores this reasonable objection in an effort to “ensure full …read more
