Proof The Bible Is True

Misc. News in no particular order. 🙂

Still no word on when I’ll be moved to Santa Rosa County jail.  Maybe this Tues or Wed?  Several guys here just came from there and said it’s not bad. I feel bad for those who have mailed me things and had them returned!  Sorry! 🙁  That jail is about 30 min from my house and family!  But, I think “visits” are non-contact through the glass on a phone. 🙁

In taking a quick inventory (Rom. 8:28 style 🙂 of all this- in the last 2.5 months of transfer centers I lost 20 #, lost a ton of mail, all my property and legal files, lost my tan, lost lots of family and ministry time 🙁 and lost my hair!  I told the new, young (and I found out too late-TOTALLY inexperienced!) black barber to take off 1/2 inch when I got here yesterday.  He LEFT 1/2 inch instead!  Ooooops!!  I haven’t had it this short since I was 6 years old!  Oh well, I hope it grows back b4 anyone sees me. 🙂  Also, could be worse- at least it hasn’t turned gray or turned loose!  This did make me realize that my wife has been right about my hair though! (Don’t tell her I said that!)  For 40 years I always knew it was time to get it cut when she said, “That looks good like that.”

I’m able to lead a Bible study here!  I’m starving for Christian fellowship and especially miss Christian music!  I do get a LOT of requests but some days…I sing anyways! 🙂  The guys are soaking it up!  I’m ready to get back to preaching!!

I got to go OUTSIDE today for an HOUR.  That’s the first time I’ve seen the sun in 3 months! (other than through a bus window while I had shackles on.)  The fact that it is Aug and FL and HOT and BUGS all over was FINE!

We are planning to appeal the latest court decision so please pray!
