Proof The Bible Is True

Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas (YouTube channel CANSWERSTV; websites www.BibleQuery.org, www.HistoryCart.com & www.MuslimHope.com) interviews Dr. Sam Reed, PhD in Biblical languages & professor at the University of Texas at Austin, concerning the original Greek translation of the Biblical text from John 1:1. The Jehovah's Witness Bible (called by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society the "New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures") translates John 1:1 in such a way as to change completely its meaning. Is Jesus presented in this verse as God Almighty or as merely a created being referenced to as "a god"? JWs believe Jesus is merely the Archangel Michael who was sent by Jehovah God to become the man Jesus, who was to die on a torture stake, dissolve into gases then be recreated by Jehovah God back into Michael. In order to support this peculiar theology JWs must change John 1:1 in their Bible.
