In the book of Judges, twice we read what happens when there is no human authority to enforce what is right and wrong according to God’s Word:
In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. (Judges 17:6; repeated in 21:25)
This verse—used twice in Judges—aptly spells out what is happening in our own culture in America.
