Thyme is an aromatic evergreen shrub and a popular kitchen herb. It is also renowned for its medicinal properties. Its leaves, flowers, and oil contain powerful therapeutic value. The use of thyme medicinally by ancient Babylonians, Assyrians and Sumerians can be traced back almost 5000 years ago.
