“Now you know why the Dems want to get rid of the EC (electoral college) so a state like CA, increasingly a Dem stronghold with massive numbers of illegals voting, can determine who will be president virtually every election. This is precisely why the EC was created in the first place, to prevent such dominance and that’s why we always need it.”  Admin

Ever since the election day, all we keep seeing is the increasing count in the popular vote that goes in Hillary Clinton’s favor. She has a major advantage, but Trump supporters didn’t complain about it, demanded a recount, and so on. According to the latest estimates, Hillary Clinton has surpassed Trump in the popular vote by 2.8 million people.

The Investors Business Daily reports that the reason why she had more popular votes than Trump is simple – it came entirely from California. In fact, California is the only state where Clinton’s margin of victory was bigger than President Obama’s in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama’s 60%.

Recently, California turned into a one-party state. For example, between 2008 and 2016, the number Democrats in this state increased by 1.1 million, while the number of registered Republicans declined by 400,000.

Is there any base to the claim that her popular vote came from California entirely? Of course; if you leave out this country’s vote from the equation, Trump wins the rest of the country by 1.4 million votes. Also, if California voted like all other Democratic states, Trump and Clinton would end up in a tie.
