ew foods are as refreshing on a hot summer day as watermelon. However, it’s sometimes easy to get carried away and end up buying too much of this sweet, natural treat. A whole uncut watermelon should last from seven to 10 days at room temperature and two to three weeks in the refrigerator. But what can you do if you’ve assessed your household’s meal plan for the next week (or your free fridge space) and admitted there’s just no way you’ll be able to eat that watermelon in time? Luckily, where there’s a freezer, there’s a way. Read

A recent discovery of a crocodile-size tetrapod (four-legged animal) in high latitudes has some conventional scientists baffled.1 How could cold-blooded animals survive in cold-temperature regions? And, according to the evolutionary story, these salamander-like animals lived in the waning moments of an Ice Age, making the cold even more extreme. Previously, animals like this were found only in warm climates.1 What chan... More...
08/27/24 “So it took EU funding and 5 years of research to reach the idiotic conclusion that gender can’t be defined. All they had to do is spend a few minutes reading the Bible regarding gender and they would have come to the correct conclusion, there are only two, male and female.” Admin Goal is to integrate ‘gender into all branches of research to boost accuracy,’ ‘generate innovative, equitable and inclusive findings’ International scholars concluded a five-year “equity” project by determining the concept of “gender” cannot be defined but should be incorporated into all aspects of scientific

08/27/24 Gov. Tim Walz’s ban on faithful Christians from teaching in Minnesota’s public is set to hit the state’s schools in just months. It also bans adherent Jews and Muslims. And a report at the Federalist warns that he is “poised to make similar bigoted, totalitarian and unconstitutional policies” for the entire nation, “should he be elected vice president.” Read More: ‘Totalitarian and unconstitutional’: Tim Walz ban on Christian teachers set to hit schools in just months * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

“Evolutionary teaching was bad enough now they want to add DEI and support for queer scientists to it. The ungodly just keep getting crazier!” Admin A Cornell University scholar is studying how racist housing policies from decades ago in America has influenced the genetics of common American house ants today, a line of research recently touted at a major evolutionary biology conference. Sylvana Ross, a grad student at Cornell, presented her talk July 30 regarding her ongoing doctoral research examining in part how past racial segregation in housing, or redlining, has altered house ants’ genetics across urban and rural neighborhoods.

Benzodiazepines are a class of psychotropic medications used to treat anxiety disorders. They work by promoting the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter, thus slowing down the nervous system. However, they’re prone to abuse, and when taken for years, can cause harmful side effects — many of which have not yet been fully identified and studied. The documentary film “Medicating Normal,” (see video below) produced and directed by filmmaking duo Lynn Cunningham and Wendy Ractliffe, sheds light on this problem. The film was inspired by a relative of Cunningham, who, at one point, was taking 10 pills

A new study has found a link between the active ingredient in popular weight loss and diabetes drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy and a 45% higher likelihood of suicidal ideation. It’s a significant finding that prompted the authors of the study to write that it “warrants urgent clarification.” The study, which was published in the journal JAMA Network Open, was based on an analysis of the World Health Organization’s adverse drug events database. To reach their conclusion, they compared reporting rates of suicidal ideation and other suicide-related behaviors for individuals taking semaglutide as well as another weight loss medication that falls
