By Creation Moments One of the mysteries of ancient Egypt is that it appears to have begun as a high civilization. The very first pharaoh of Egypt is known as Narmer, and his name simply means “Catfish.” From what we can tell, King Catfish, who lived around five hundred years after the Great Flood, is helping to prove the truth of the Bible’s history. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

What does the term ‘missing link’ mean? Is it helpful, or misleading? Do evolutionists need to find multiple fossils of both sexes to establish an evolutionary link? What about ‘minimum breeding sizes’? CMI’s Dr Carl Wieland clears up these and other questions in today’s feedback. Peter L. from Canada writes: Firstly, I want to say that I love Creation Magazine. But I am curious about this whole “missing link” thing. Shouldn’t they be talking about the missing links? After all, don’t they need one male and one female? And not only just two but, if I recall my old biology, [More]
No scientific method can prove the age of the earth and the universe, and that includes the ones we have listed here. Although age indicators are called ‘clocks’ they aren’t, because all ages result from calculations that necessarily involve making assumptions about the past. Always the starting time of the ‘clock’ has to be assumed as well as the way in which the speed of the clock has varied over time. Further, it has to be assumed that the clock was never disturbed. There is no independent natural clock against which those assumptions can be tested. For example, the amount [More]

By Ken Ham Our online bookstore is carrying a brand new, biblically based resource for teaching children about God’s creation. The Ecology Book by Tom Hennigan and Jean Lightner is a great addition to the Wonders of Creation curriculum series available in our webstore. This series is great for homeschooling families—and it can be used for 5th–11th grade! Here is how The Ecology Book was described to me: “In the new Ecology Book, your students will be given a fuller understanding of biblical stewardship and how to practice it. What’s more, as your students work through The Ecology Book, …read [More]

By Creation Moments Sometimes incredible wonders pass right before our eyes, but we are not equipped to see them. Take the hummingbird, for an example. Did you know that like the woodpecker, the hummingbird has a tongue that wraps all the way around its head just under the skin? This feature is not really evident when you look at the hummingbird. Nor is the wonderful way in which its wings move, so that it can hover, fly forwards or fly backwards. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Creation Moments According to the Bible, God created the land-living insects, and that would include the bees, on day six of creation. This was just three days after He created the flowering plants. According to evolution, bees evolved from a simpler insect after the pollen-bearing plants had developed. The specialized bee and its complex social structure was thought to have taken a long time to evolve. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

“So now it appears the military is beginning a campaign to demonize Christians and conservatives and for what purpose? Will they someday be used against Christians and conservatives in this country?” Admin Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me the counter-intelligence agent in charge of the meeting spent nearly a [More]
By Creation Moments Many people still believe that as we developed from the fertilized egg in our mother’s womb, we went through all the earlier evolutionary stages. That is, we had gills like a fish, then our heart developed from two-stage to four-stage, and at one point we even had a tail like a monkey. Unfortunately this myth, based upon fraudulent work done in 1866, can still be found as evidence for evolution in some school textbooks. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

On Miami’s Metrorail, 82-year-old Emma Anderson was forcibly removed at Brickwell Station by a security guard. According to a lawsuit, the guard accused her of “publicly singing spiritual hymns.” He insisted that public singing, dancing and playing music without a permit is against the Miami-Dade Transit rules. The case is just one of hundreds referenced in a newly updated report by legal experts with the Texas-based Liberty Institute. The non-profit legal advocacy group says the evidence shows the U.S. government is steadily advancing an agenda to replace the “Creator” in the Declaration of Independence with itself. By Ken Ham Atheist Richard Dawkins, who recently published his autobiography titled An Appetite for Wonder, recently appeared on TV’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote his book. Of course, Dawkins criticized Christianity and promoted his usual message of evolutionary historical science. But in the extra interview footage, available on The Daily Show’s website, Dawkins made an interesting admission to Stewart—he doesn’t know for sure what happens to us when we die: JON STEWART: So where do we go when we die? DAWKINS: Bertrand Russell—well— STEWART: So you don’t know? DAWKINS: Well, we either get buried or cremated. [More]
By Ken Ham Military language is used in many places in the Bible to explain the spiritual battle Christians are in. And for a battle, we need soldiers—soldiers equipped with the “weapons” necessary to do battle. For around 35 years now, I have been involved in teaching creation apologetics to help equip “soldiers” in coming generations, preparing them for the spiritual war going on around us. Thousands upon thousands of children and young people across this nation (and in other parts of the world) have been taught how to defend the Christian faith against the onslaught of evolutionary secular humanism [More]
