By Creation Moments Dinosaurs are one of the most popular subjects among grade schoolers these days. These fascinating and awe-inspiring creatures seem distant and unreal to our modern world. “As the debt laden western economies go increasingly further into debt problems like this will only get worse.”  Admin Shoplifting has soared in the past year as Brits battle austerity cuts. By Ken Ham For years we have been saying that humanism is a religion—but now it’s official, at least in the state of Oregon. In April, an inmate serving time at a prison facility in Oregon filed suit because he wasn’t allowed to form a humanist study group, since humanism wasn’t listed as a religious affiliation “under existing prison classifications,” according to the Huffington Post. The federal court recently ruled that denying him the right to hold a study group was against his constitutional rights and pronounced that humanism is indeed a religion. The discussion of whether humanism qualifies …read [More]
By Ken Ham Often around Christmas, atheist groups put up billboards encouraging people to reject the real reason for Christmas—Christ! And they’re doing it again this year. Note that their focus is to be against the Christian message. Such efforts once again help show that this is a spiritual issue, as secularists actively try to “suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1). The 2014 billboards feature a young girl writing a letter to Santa Claus and saying, “Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is to skip church! I’m too old for fairy tales.” December 2014 American Atheists billboard campaign. [More]

One of the ways that VOM sometimes encourages American Christians to support our brothers and sisters facing persecution is by asking our government leaders to speak out and act on their behalf. These efforts go back even to VOM’s founder, Richard Wurmbrand, who testified before a Senate committee and even took off his shirt in the hearing to show the deep torture scars on his body. But what is the best way to advocate for persecuted Christians to US officials? And does it make a difference? Do they listen? We’ve got answers to those questions and others this week on [More]
By Ken Ham Recently a blog post appeared on the BioLogos website (an organization that promotes compromising Genesis with millions of years and evolution, and spreads that message to the church) written by a recent homeschool graduate who describes his switch from accepting young-earth creation to believing in old-earth, evolutionary ideas. He claims, “My shift away from young-earth creationism began not due to convincing answers from the evolutionist crowd, but because of the unconvincing and confusing answers of the young earth crowd.” Question on Dinosaurs The objection that supposedly first made Jacob begin to question God’s Word in Genesis was [More]
By Ken Ham Well, I’m “That Guy” again! Is Bill Nye (TV’s “the Science Guy”) so afraid of us that he can’t utter my name? He has done a number of TV interviews lately, and he just won’t mention my name when he’s asked by interviewers about our February debate at the Creation Museum. Time and time again he just calls me “That Guy.” I know that he has the rights to use the debate video (as we also do), but he doesn’t seem to want people to watch the debate. On our websites we promote the links to the [More]
By Ken Ham My wife and I arrived in Brisbane, Australia on November 14 (we are visiting aged parents in ill health), the day before the G20 Summit that was held in Brisbane. President Obama, along with leaders from several other countries (including Russia and China), attended the two-day conference. By Ken Ham Church employees in California are next on the list of Christians facing attacks on their religious freedom here in the United States. AiG has written several blogs and articles recently on that very topic; we are noticing that the battle for religious liberty in America is only getting fiercer. In Texas the attack was on freedom of speech for pastors; in Kentucky the battle is about the Ark Encounter’s freedom of speech and its right to hire people who agree with our religious tenets or statement of faith; in Idaho the issue was a wedding …read more [More]

By Ken Ham Look at those smiling students! I recently received a thank you letter and photo from the fifth-graders at Concordia Lutheran School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are studying the Seven C’s of History, and I made them a video (which you can watch below) to encourage them to stand firmly on the Word of God and its account of history. I am always thrilled when I hear of schools like this one that are training their students to think biblically and to trust God’s Word from the beginning. Sadly, as documented in my coauthored book Already Gone [More]
“It’s hard to believe that a body named the “Food Safety Authority” would make such an insane ruling since the dangers of GMO crops are well documented. They are clearly not interested in food safety but in furthering corporate interests at the expense of everyones health.”  Admin Nations and regions which want to stay free of genetically-modified crops will be banned from doing so under a devastating ruling by EU scientists. The decision, the first from the new European Food Safety Authority, means governments will be unable to stop the controversial plants being grown on their soil – effectively opening [More]
A new study released in September of this year gives even more evidence that GMOs should have been banned before they were ever allowed on the market. Read on to find out how “Genetically Engineered Crops, Glyphosate and the Deterioration of Health in the United States of America” pinpoints a significant correlation between GMOs and 22 diseases. Why does the biotech industry keep hiding the toxicity of their products?
