By Ken Ham Today (December 27) marks the 21st anniversary of Answers in Genesis. I encourage you to discover how God has blessed this apologetics ministry so mightily since late 1993 (including how He has directed 2.3 million people to our Creation Museum) by reading our ministry’s history and seeing some historical photos on our website. And right there you can read about the recent developments in building a life-size Ark in Northern Kentucky. In a future article, we will give you a glimpse of what is planned for 2015—including new initiatives to proclaim …read more Read more here: Ken [More]

“This is good news! If you want to stop GMO foods then hit them where it hurts … in the pocketbook.”  Admin Americans are speaking with their wallets like never before in order to voice our true collective opinion of how corporations and Big Food are working with our food. One critical example of how we are demanding change can be seen where the sale of non-GMO Project Verified foods have more than doubled since 2013. Verified GMO-free food sales were $3 billion in 2013 and were $8.5 billion in 2014! Not only that, organic food sales overall are projected [More]

“This issue of Islamization is really starting to heat up as the general public is now starting to wake up to the fact they have a real problem on their hands. The politicians however seem to be stuck in a state of denial for whatever reason. How this will all play out remains to be seen.”  Admin After tens of thousands of Germans participated in rallies organized by Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA), German Chancellor Angela Merkel denounced them, claiming that when they chanted “We are the people,” they really meant, “You don’t belong — because [More]

By Creation Moments New research suggests that you might want to be careful about what you say around babies. As every parent knows, young children are sponges that easily absorb knowledge from their surroundings. By Creation Moments Aluminum, the most abundant metal in the Earth’s crust, is usually thought to be poisonous to life. When aluminum becomes too concentrated in soil, it will greatly reduce crop yield. No known living creature uses aluminum in its metabolism. That’s why many scientists are skeptical of claims by a researcher from the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute in Baltimore that she has discovered a microbe that not only tolerates aluminum, but also needs it to live. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

“Even it’s name sounds sinister.”  Admin It was appropriate that 2014 should end as it began, with two stories exposing more disturbingly than ever the shadowy workings of the most sinister and secretive court in our judicial system. A year ago it was the case, first revealed in this column, of the visiting Italian woman secretly ordered by the Court of Protection, without her knowledge, to be subjected to a caesarean section, so that her baby could be handed over to Essex social workers. Last week it was the case, which I reported here in June, of Kathleen Danby, a [More]
he CDC has already admitted that this year’s influenza strain is not a good match for the current flu vaccine. And yet, as in previous years, the universal message given to the public from the government and mainstream media is to “get the flu shot anyway.” But what if the flu shot itself is part of the problem? Is it possible that the financial investment in stockpiling flu vaccines each year creates a conflict of interest in this public health message encouraging everyone to get their flu shots, even when it is not a good match for the strains of [More]

By Ken Ham Over the past few months, and especially since the evolution/creation debate in February, I’ve blogged many times about statements that Bill Nye “the Science Guy” has made to the media. Many of these statements are inflammatory against creationists (and really Christianity in general) and are simply not true representations of the nature of science or the creation/evolution controversy. Well, Bill Nye made more of these kinds of comments in a recent interview with Newsmax TV. Earlier, I wrote about Nye’s statement that denying evolution is unique to America and showed that this is simply not …read more [More]

If ancient history according to Scripture is true, then what should we expect to find in animal fossils? Surely excellent body designs would top the list, closely followed by a lack of “transitional forms.” A newly discovered specialized beetle inside Indian amber provides another peek into the past and an opportunity to test these Bible-based expectations. By Creation Moments According to the biblical chronology, God ordered Aaron to be consecrated as the first priest of Israel about 3,400 years ago. From Aaron, priesthood was passed down from father to son until the official priesthood ended with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. After that, fathers would tell their children that they were descended from the priestly class. Though only these oral histories exist today, modern Judaism still honors Aaron’s descendants. Today they are called cohanim, which is the plural of cohen, meaning “priest” in Hebrew. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
