Two separate studies claim massive tsunamis and earthquakes from an asteroid impact profoundly affected the rock record. One research team modeled a 1.5 km (1 mile) high water wave that propagated across the ocean following the Chicxulub impact, causing sweeping erosion across the ocean floor.1 Another report asserted the same impact generated a mega-earthquake that caused twisted and contorted sedimentary layering around the wor… More… …read more Source: icr.org

By ID the Future On this ID the Future, host Joshua Youngkin interviews the author of I, Charles Darwin, Nickell John Romjue, about his unique book in which a time-traveling Charles Darwin returns to the modern day. What would happen if Charles Darwin were to come back today? I, Charles Darwin examines that issue scientifically and culturally. In this conversation, Romjue describes what drew him to the subject and some of the things he did to prepare for writing the novella. ID the Future ran his audio book as a five-part series. Part 1 is here. Part 2 is here. [More]
By Michael Behe On today’s ID the Future, Michael Medved interviews biologist Michael Behe about Behe’s visually stunning YouTube series, Secrets of the Cell. Behe summarizes one of the key messages of the video series, namely that everything from the life-essential blood clotting system to a myriad of crucial protein structures in our bodies increasingly appear to be far beyond the reach of blind evolutionary mechanisms to build. Instead they appear to be the work of planning and purpose, which is the purview of mind. Meanwhile, even many mainstream evolutionists are growing skeptical of neo-Darwinism, Behe says, as biologists continue [More]

By Ken Ham The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are quickly turning into a winter wonderland. No, it’s not snowing yet. But our grounds crews have been hard at work for several months now, carefully setting up the hundreds of thousands of lights that will transform both attractions into a spectacular Christmas display the day after Thanksgiving (November 25, 2022). You won’t want to miss it! I’m always amazed by the work our grounds crews do to prepare for our Christmas outreaches. They don’t just string up some lights or drape them over some trees. There’s an incredible amount of [More]
By Ken Ham This is truly horrifying. The largest public school system in Maryland recently had their students—from elementary through high school—fill out a form “designed to understand and support a student’s gender identity” (423 forms have been submitted in four years). It asks students for their “‘identified name,’ ‘identified gender’ and their preferred pronouns.” And the results are shocking. The New Social Contagion In 2019, this form found just 35 students throughout the whole system who identified as “non-binary” (identifying as something outside the male-female “binary”). The same form in 2021 (the results were just made public) found . [More]

By Ken Ham We certainly do live in a very secularized culture. The once-Christianized veneer (the Judeo-Christian ethic based on biblical morality) has worn off, and secularism and moral relativism have taken its place. And study after study just continues to confirm how secular this nation really has become. For example, according to a new study, nearly 80%—almost 8 in 10—of US teenagers (15–19 years old) “expect to cohabit before marriage.” The vast majority of teenagers today expect that, sometime after high school, they’ll move in with a “romantic partner.” That may sound benign to some, but the Bible says [More]

A fossil fish heart, in remarkable condition, was found in Western Australia. It was embedded in a chunk of sedimentary rock dated by evolutionists to be 380 million years old. Co-author of the study, Per Ahlberg of Sweden’s Uppsala University, was quick to make an unwarranted and bizarre fish/human connection, That we ourselves and all the other living organisms with which we share the … More… …read more Source: icr.org
