By Creation Moments Before the Great Flood of Noah, what did our forefathers see when confronted with a dinosaur? What did dinosaur skin look like? What were their babies like? Biblical history places the creation of the great land living dinosaurs on the same day as man was created. That means that there is little doubt that at least some of the people we read about in the Bible saw dinosaurs. Many modern creationists think that Job’s description of leviathan actually describes some sort of dinosaur. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham Well, after what the airline Virgin Australia did to us this week, I think I should begin writing the book I’ve always threatened to write—Flying Is the Pits! As many of you know, we were recently in Australia to visit our two remaining elderly parents. About 12 hours before we were to leave on Virgin Australia to return to the USA, my wife’s father died suddenly in Australia, necessitating changing our flights to return 10 days later. And what did Virgin Australia do with our change in travel plans? We had traveled over to Australia on premium

By Creation Moments Conifers aren’t bothered by too many insect pests. That’s because the oils that give them that nice pine scent are poisonous. They would be poisonous to the conifer sawfly larva if it digested them, too. But while it munches the pine needles, its body is busy storing the poisonous oils for future defense. The fact that the sawfly not only eats pine needles, but also uses the poisonous oils for defense, poses a difficult problem for evolution which appears to have no solution. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham The authors of a new book on atheistic living held a contest in which they invited secularists to submit their suggestions for “10 Atheist Non-Commandments.” (By the way—isn’t it interesting that they are doing what the devil has been doing since Genesis 3: trying to counterfeit what God has done?) According to CNN, this contest received 2,800 submissions from 18 different countries. But really, what is the point of atheists writing up a list of non-commandments? What is a “non-commandment” anyway? They have no basis for their moral views other than their own opinions, which can vary

By Ken Ham Bill Nye “the Science Guy” of TV and debate fame has produced a short video that’s on YouTube (and was promoted through various media outlets) supposedly to explain evolution with what’s called Emoji! Now the video has had about 1.3 million views. And you might be surprised when I tell you that I think it would be a good one for you to sit down and watch with your kids—so that you can clearly show them that evolution is just another fairy tale. And Bill Nye makes it so obvious. As you start the video, you …read

By Creation Moments Aluminum, the most abundant metal in the Earth’s crust, is usually thought to be poisonous to life. When aluminum becomes too concentrated in soil, it will greatly reduce crop yield. No known living creature uses aluminum in its metabolism. That’s why many scientists are skeptical of claims by a researcher from the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute in Baltimore that she has discovered a microbe that not only tolerates aluminum, but also needs it to live. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham Over the past few months, and especially since the evolution/creation debate in February, I’ve blogged many times about statements that Bill Nye “the Science Guy” has made to the media. Many of these statements are inflammatory against creationists (and really Christianity in general) and are simply not true representations of the nature of science or the creation/evolution controversy. Well, Bill Nye made more of these kinds of comments in a recent interview with Newsmax TV. Earlier, I wrote about Nye’s statement that denying evolution is unique to America and showed that this is simply not …read more

By Creation Moments According to the biblical chronology, God ordered Aaron to be consecrated as the first priest of Israel about 3,400 years ago. From Aaron, priesthood was passed down from father to son until the official priesthood ended with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. After that, fathers would tell their children that they were descended from the priestly class. Though only these oral histories exist today, modern Judaism still honors Aaron’s descendants. Today they are called cohanim, which is the plural of cohen, meaning “priest” in Hebrew. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
