A new book released last month reveals the accuracy of the Bible’s historical accounts and spotlights several recent findings that contradict the evolutionary time-frame. Bruce Malone, founder of Search for the Truth Publications, is a popular Christian speaker and author of several books, including “Censored Science.” His latest book, titled “Brilliant,” explores the timeline of world history through a biblical worldview. “Cultures throughout the world are filled with mysteries which do not fit the pervasive evolutionary time-frame, but make perfect sense if the Biblical timeline of history is understood,” Malone said in a press release. “‘Brilliant’ takes the Bible seriously

Sunlight can change in a heartbeat. One second, a leaf could be under intense sun and may receive more light than it needs to build sugar molecules through a process called photosynthesis. But a few seconds later, a cloud may wander overhead and block the sun, starving the plant’s photosynthetic machinery. A team of plant biologists recently discovered new mechanisms that help plants cope with these fast-changing light conditions. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

By Ken Ham Another Bible-themed movie is coming out of Hollywood soon (December 12). Exodus: Gods and Kings is about Moses and the flight of the Israelite slaves from Egypt. In a blog I wrote in July, I expressed my doubt that Exodus would be faithful to the biblical text, and recent statements coming from the lead actor of the film seem to further confirm my suspicions. According to news sources, Christian Bale (of Batman fame), who is playing Moses, says, “I think the man was likely schizophrenic and was one of the most barbaric individuals that I ever read

By Ken Ham According to recent research, atheists may not actually exist! In an article for Science 2.0, Nury Vittachi wrote that the way human brains are wired seems to make it impossible for someone to actually be a true atheist. Nury writes, “Cognitive scientists are becoming increasingly aware that a metaphysical outlook may be so deeply ingrained in human thought processes that it cannot be expunged.” He goes on to say that “this line of thought has led to some scientists claiming that ‘atheism is psychologically impossible because of the way humans think.’” Vittachi highlights the tendency for humans

By Creation Moments The French philosopher René Descartes argued that anything that cannot be investigated by human reason must be assumed not to exist. By Ken Ham In a previous post, I responded to a claim that young-earth creationists are lying to children, and when our children realize they’ve been lied to for years, they will leave the Christian faith. Well, a recent blog from BioLogos (a theistic evolutionist group) hints at this argument, but also lumps old-earth creationists into the mix. In this blog, Brad Kramer, the content editor for BioLogos, says that as a child he was full of questions about the Bible in the book of Genesis. Originally, he states he was given resources promoting young-earth creation from Answers in Genesis

Based on journal entries, a Danish survey team probably sighted musk deer while working in the remote regions of northeast Afghanistan in 1948, but that was the last official sighting—until now.
