By Ken Ham It’s amazing the things secular scientists come up with. This time, they’re speculating that chimps would like to cook, but don’t, just because they don’t know how to control fire. Since these scientists believe humans and chimps evolved from a common ape-like ancestor, what they’re saying is this: the fact that chimps like cooked food—and will even wait while it “cooks” to eat it—is proof that humans are more evolved than these animals. According to a recent National Geographic article, “New research shows that our closest evolutionary relatives have all of the cognitive capacities required for cooking—except [More]
By Ken Ham Skeptics mock the account of Noah’s Ark and the global Flood as recorded in Scripture. They claim that there is no evidence that such a worldwide event ever happened. But as I often say, even the rocks cry out that the history recorded in Genesis is true! For example, the rocks provide the record of billions of dead things buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the Earth. If there really had been a global Flood at some point in Earth’s history, this is exactly what we would expect to see. And it is [More]

By Ken Ham Creationists and, as I pointed out during my debate with Bill Nye, TV’s “The Science Guy” last year, even some secular textbooks have highlighted the distinction between the two different kinds of science. One kind of science is observational science, which deals directly with the present. It’s directly testable, observable, and repeatable. It’s the kind of science that builds airplanes and cell phones, and put a rover on Mars. The other kind of science is historical science. Historical science deals with the past and is therefore not directly testable, observable, or repeatable. In historical science, the evidence [More]
By Ken Ham We live in a day and age when increasing numbers of people (particularly this next generation) have rejected God’s Word as the foundation for morality and instead are doing “whatever is right in their own eyes” (Judges 21:25). As I’ve noted numerous times before, this is increasingly being seen in the area of gender. Instead of accepting the God-given boundaries of gender as male and female, much of society has completely redefined gender and has changed gender into “whatever is right in their own eyes” (Judges 21:25). But should we reconsider gender boundaries? Well, gender is not [More]

Some sports figures have practically made an art of trash-talking. Perhaps the most famous of them all is Muhammad Ali. His taunts-filled trash-talk – both before and during the bouts – worked so well, it helped him become heavyweight boxing champion. Mexican free-tailed bats emerging from Carlsbad Caverns, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New MexicoUntil recently, no one knew that some bats do the very same thing in order to distract other bats from gobbling up bugs they want for themselves. Using high-pitched echolocation signals at just the right moment, the Mexican free-tailed bat can block a competitor’s chance to get [More]

By Ken Ham Here is a news item involving yet more undermining of the free exercise of religion in this nation. This in fact should be alarming to all Americans if they truly understood the implications in regard to the Constitution and the freedom of religion in America. A source within the federal government has informed the Friday Fax that the White House is quietly moving forward with a policy change that will require charitable humanitarian groups to accept LGBT applicants in order to qualify for government funding, even those religious groups that might have religious objections. . . . By Creation Moments Evolutionists hate the very idea of the worldwide flood because they know that such a catastrophe would cause the Earth to appear to be much older than it truly is. By Ken Ham This year’s Southern Baptist Convention is coming to Columbus, Ohio—just two hours from the Creation Museum. For those who are traveling to attend the convention, it’s a great time to visit the Creation Museum while they are in the area. View Flyer They will be encouraged to see how the Creation Museum proclaims the gospel and stands boldly on God’s Word from the very beginning without compromise. By Ken Ham Episode nine of A.D. The Bible Continues recently aired on NBC. As with past episodes, this one got many biblical and historical details wrong. I encourage you to read the full review, provided by two writers and researchers, Avery Foley and Troy Lacey, below: Episode nine of A.D. The Bible Continues focuses on Acts 9:23–28. It begins with persecutors searching desperately for Saul of Tarsus all over the city of Damascus and then shows his daring escape in a basket over the wall of the city (Acts 9:25). They correctly showed the city gates being watched as [More]

By Ken Ham An interesting news story has recently been spreading around the Internet. Apparently a student in California sued his school district because he wanted to be able to “to attach [a] 5-inch feather he received from his father to the tassel on his cap” for his graduation ceremony. Reportedly the school does not allow any religious symbols or additional decorations to the cap and gown. The student, Christian Titman, then reportedly sued for the right to be able to wear the religious symbol. Apparently he was successful in his suit and will be able to wear the feather. [More]

By Ken Ham According to a recent study, scientists claim that the fossilized brains of two marine arthropods discovered in Cambrian rock strata in Canada can give a peek into the evolutionary history of arthropods. According to evolutionary thinking, the ancestors of arthropods (things like insects, spiders, and crustaceans) were soft-bodied creatures. Evolutionists hold that these legged worm-like creatures eventually obtained a jointed skeleton and began to look like arthropods. Apparently, researchers were wondering, “How do we go from something that looks nothing like an arthropod to something that looks completely like an arthropod?” Well, these new fossilized brains supposedly [More]
For years, we have been pointing out the obvious foundational issues linked to the relentlessly rising rates of youth suicide in the ‘evolutionized’ West. If Darwin was right, there is no ultimate meaning or purpose to life except what we choose. You are born, you suffer, you die—that’s it. Perhaps, if you’re lucky, you may get recycled as organic manure—but beyond that, you’re just a number that happened to come up in the great casino of the universe. (Even where Darwin is denied, but ‘millions of years’ ideas are proclaimed, hopelessness finds foothold. Read More  Darwin, Spurgeon and the black [More]
