By Creation Moments Not long ago Creation Moments brought you a news report about NASA’s search for extraterrestrial life and how they are quite sure they’ll find it by the year 2035. The primary way they’re searching for life is by looking for planets and moons with water. Where there’s water, they hope to find life. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
On its way to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., which is being built by Hobby Lobby President Steve Green for $400 million, visitors will find the largest collection of exported Israeli artifacts found on the planet. Slated to open its doors in 2017 after its groundbreaking earlier this year in February, the 430,000-square-foot Museum of the Bible will house Israeli artifacts that include pieces of the Dead Sea Scrolls, tablets from Abraham’s time and biblical papyri. The head of the Israel Antiquities Authority’s (IAA) National Treasures Department, Micky Saban, announced on Wednesday that the antiquities being shipped [More]

By Ken Ham During the summer months many families take advantage of the sunshine to go on a vacation. But as they tour around the country, many Christian families are disappointed by the amount of evolutionary indoctrination found at national parks, museums, and other vacation destinations. What if you could view and enjoy some of these same sites without the evolutionary teaching and instead see them through the lens of God’s Word and a biblical worldview? Well, our good friend Eric Hovind at Creation Today told us about a site that will help you do just that. The website, VisitCreation.org, [More]

Cancerous growths had been discovered through a routine colonoscopy, so to keep the cancer from spreading, the growths and his ascending colon was surgically removed. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham The life-size Noah’s Ark project under construction in Williamstown, Kentucky, will no doubt be a major economic boost for Grant County and the rest of Northern Kentucky—as well as the entire state of Kentucky. The new research Answers in Genesis commissioned earlier this year raised estimates of Ark attendance up to a potential 2.2 million visitors a year. This research was only conducted among the US population—there will, of course, be thousands of visitors from other countries (as we have already seen at our Creation Museum). Based on the number of people surveyed who said they would [More]

By Creation Moments The rainbow eucalyptus tree is undoubtedly the most beautiful tree ever. Its bark looks like it was painted by an artist using a palette full of pastel pigments. Surprisingly, this tree’s coat of many colors actually comes from the way its bark peels off the tree. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham Horse-lovers (and there are lots of them here in Kentucky!) might be interested in new research from the University of Sussex on horse facial expression. Apparently, according to this new research, “horses use a wide range of facial expressions as social cues—much like humans do.” Horses reportedly have seventeen “discrete movements, many of which are also used by humans, despite obvious differences in facial structure.” Humans, however, have twenty-seven “action units,” or facial movements, as opposed to the horses’ seventeen action units. Reportedly “both horses and humans modify their facial expressions roughly the same way—by using facial [More]
By Creation Moments If I were come out and say that “neo-Darwinism is effectively dead despite its persistence as textbook orthodoxy”, you can be sure that evolutionists would be all over me. If I went on to say that our knowledge of genetics is now sufficient to reject evolution’s slow, gradual selection of small mutational changes, you can bet evolutionists would hurl insults at me, using words I would not be permitted to repeat on this radio station. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham One of the most-asked questions I receive at conferences and from visitors to the Creation Museum concerns whether I have a recommendation for a Bible college or university that has a strong creationist emphasis that their teenagers could attend. Sadly, there are very few creationist universities (or Bible colleges or seminaries, for that matter) in the world—and only one we know of that has a creation-based geology degree program—Cedarville University in Ohio (only about 2 hours from the Creation Museum) This past week, we opened a new exhibit at the Creation Museum—sponsored by Cedarville University. It’s called [More]
By Ken Ham Did you know that Answers in Genesis’ ministry is not just for the United States? We have a vibrant international ministry, reaching people all over the world with the message of creation, biblical authority, and the gospel. Well, three of our staff members were recently in South America at a Respuestas en Génesis (Spanish for “Answers in Genesis”) conference. Dr. Terry Mortenson, my brother Steve Ham, and Joe Owen traveled to Peru and Argentina to teach pastors and lay people—including some unbelievers—about the truth of Scripture and how important the book of Genesis is. The trip was [More]

By Ken Ham I believe the greatest investment we can ever make is this: one that affects hearts and minds for eternity! We at Answers in Genesis are so thankful for our dedicated donors who partner with us to help us spread the message of biblical authority and reliability, and the gospel. This is so important in a time when secularists and the media are increasingly attacking the truth and accuracy of God’s Word, especially in Genesis. And we can only do what we do in equipping the church because of the generosity of our supporters. Now, did you know [More]
A new study published in The Open Evolution Journal described a paradox that particles-to-people evolution has failed to resolve. Called the “mutation protection paradox,” it could be an intractable problem that would leave creation as the only viable origins hypothesis. Study researchers observed that both living organisms and computer programs that copy and transmit coded information have built-in error detection and error correction systems. These systems are required to maintain the information’s integrity, which would otherwise be eroded by constantly accumulating random mutations. The coded information, organized in small sets called “bytes” in binary computer code and “codons” in the [More]
As weird as it may sound, some snakes had legs. Fossils reveal little legs on ancient snakes that have apparently been extinct for some time. Yet, those had only hind legs. Now, in the journal Science researchers describe a new fossil with four limbs. They suggest that this new fossil illustrates how legged snakes evolved from legged lizards. Is this accurate? Apparently, it’s time to alter biology and anatomy textbooks again. There’s much more to mitochondria than we ever thought. Researchers revealed that these tiny cellular power houses are highly organized to efficiently deliver ATP energy. They interconnect throughout muscle cells, forming a gigantic mitochondrial network. Researchers published this stunning discovery in Nature, calling it the “mitochondrial reticulum.” More… …read more Read more here: icr.org

“Just one more of many marvels of design in nature that are proving extremely problematic for evolutionists.”  Admin An international team of researchers has concluded an in-depth genetic analysis of the octopus, and some say their just-released findings present deep problems for the theory of evolution. The octopus has long been recognized as one of Earth’s most unusual creatures. Its intelligence, dexterity, and complexity are unparalleled among invertebrates. And, until last year, scientists had never fully mapped the genome of the octopus, so the eight-armed creature’s full genetic code remained a mystery. Finally, in a journal article published in Nature [More]
