Congratulations to the New Horizons team on their remarkable achievement of sending a spacecraft to Pluto. The mission was a complete success, and we are enjoying high-resolution images of never-before-seen surface features of this distant little world. These pictures dazzle the mind and are already beginning to challenge secular thinking. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
By Creation Moments From time to time we hear about scientific studies showing that Christians live longer and healthier lives than unbelievers. We also hear of studies proving that prayer really does work. One recent report, consisting of 1,500 different medical studies, showed that “people who are more religious and pray more have better mental and physical health.” read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham We recently had a special guest tour the Creation Museum, and he loved it. James MacDonald, a popular Bible teacher heard daily on his nationwide radio program Walk in the Word and pastor of the huge Harvest Bible Chapel near Chicago, and six leaders from his church came and toured the museum recently. Harvest Bible Chapel has multiple campuses across the Chicago area, as well as about 100 affiliate churches around the United States and Canada. Unfortunately, I was away at the time of Pastor MacDonald’s visit, so the honor of meeting with the group went to

By Ken Ham While I was away in Australia, we had a special guest come and tour the Ark Encounter property in northern Kentucky. Harry Fike, a World War II pilot, will be 93 next month, and he drove all the way from Iowa by himself to see how construction was coming along on the Ark. Harry is an enthusiastic supporter of AiG, the Creation Museum, and now the Ark Encounter, and he had a great time touring the Ark property and viewing the construction with two of the ladies who work here at AiG. After his tour, they …read

By Ken Ham We recently received a letter from a sixteen-year-old young lady who discovered Answers in Genesis when she watched my debate last year with Bill Nye “the Science Guy.” Here is her testimony about how her eyes were opened to compromise in her thinking and the need to stand on the authority of God’s Word from the very beginning. Growing up, I never had heard of the idea of a young earth; neither had my parents. My family never believed in molecules-to-man evolution, but we did accept the idea of millions of years because we were indoctrinated with

Jesus lizards literally run across the surface of ponds in Central and South America. According to evolutionary thinking, all reptiles—snakes, turtles, gavials, dinosaurs, pterosaurs, chameleons, skinks, and Jesus lizards—descended from an unknown original reptilian form. What evidence might demonstrate this? Strings of fossils should clearly connect each basic reptile kind back to that supposed key ancestor. It should have interchangeable or adjustable body features that natural forces could have manipulated without disrupting the evolving creature’s essential functions. A newly discovered fossil of a Jesus lizard in Wyoming shows just the opposite evidence. More… …read more Read more here: icr.org
By Creation Moments Alchemy is considered to have played a significant role in the development of early modern science. The history of alchemy is filled with fascinating stories about the precursor of chemistry and includes the names of such famous scientists as Robert Boyle and Roger Bacon. But perhaps no tale is more fascinating than the true story of glass-maker and alchemist Hennig Brand. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham We pray this would never happen in America—but it’s reported to be happening in China as you will read below. Meanwhile, the free exercise of Christianity is definitely under threat in the US, as I have posted about many times. A recent Associated Press news report stated, Authorities in southeastern Zhejiang province are believed to be under a two-month deadline to remove crosses from the spires, vaults, roofs and wall arches of the 4,000 or so churches that dot the landscape of this economically thriving region. In a rare move, even China’s semiofficial Christian associations—which are supposed

By Ken Ham When visiting tourist sites or going on tours in Australia, one is reminded again and again of the intense evolutionary indoctrination the public receives. Over and over again we heard “millions of years” and “evolution” from tour guides (and we also saw these terms on numerous signs). But such guides just quote what they’ve read somewhere or been told to say—they can’t defend their position. And some of them make the most ludicrous statements. On a river cruise in far North Queensland looking for crocodiles in the wild (and we found some—see photographs) the guide said, “Crocodiles

By Ken Ham A poll by Caddell Associates was summarized by the Washington Examiner this way: “When asked which was more important, by a 4 to 1 ratio, voters said protecting religious liberty (31 percent) over protecting gay and lesbian rights (8 percent),” said Caddell, who added that most of the rest said both are important. The potential for a war is great, since a top Obama official suggested during the recent same sex marriage case that the administration could force groups opposed to gay weddings on religious ground to buckle under.
