One of the constant themes of Scripture is that nature bears consistent witness to its Creator. That is still true today, despite the best attempts of evolutionary scientists to silence it. The intricacy of even something as humble as the skin of a gecko (p. 40) shows the ingenuity of its Creator. From the lowly pigeon (p. 16), to an octopus that mimics marine predators with astonishing accuracy (p. 12) to the sawfish with its comical rostrum (p. 34), animals have instincts and features that defy evolutionary explanation. Rather, they show they were created by an intelligent Designer who is

On a recent ministry visit to Singapore, I met a pastor who has been involved in church planting in China. He shared how people had been doing Bible studies for 18 months but there had been no conversions to Christ. He asked the non-Christians why they were not responding to the Bible studies and becoming followers of Jesus. They replied that they had learned during their education that the universe and everything in it came about by the natural process of evolution over billions of years and that the Bible just did not make any sense to them; it was

By Ken Ham Pregnant mothers often choose to take a chorionic villus sampling (CVS) test when they are 11 to 14 weeks pregnant. This test analyzes placental cells for genetic abnormalities to predict genetic disorders, such as Down syndrome. Well, research on mouse embryos suggests that even when normal cells and abnormal cells are mixed half and half in the placenta, the baby can still be born perfectly healthy. This happens because the abnormal cells are killed via programmed cell death, and healthy cells replace them. Although the baby mouse itself has replaced the abnormal cells, the placenta still retains

By Creation Moments A surprising number of living things mimic other living things. We have done a number of programs on these wonders of God’s creativity. However, evolutionary biologists discount such mimicry as any sort of wonder because in many cases the mimicry is imperfect. The biological term is “flawed mimicry.” read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham Our young people face a world that is very hostile to the Christian faith. The world hates God’s Word and the Bible, and actively works to suppress the truth of our Creator (Romans 1:18). It’s especially difficult for young people attending secular colleges. An atheistic, naturalistic, and evolutionary worldview permeates many classes—even for students who aren’t taking a science course! Sadly, things often aren’t much better at Christian colleges. They frequently tear down young people’s faith in God’s Word, rather than building it up as they should. It’s very important that we equip our young people to

By Ken Ham The Tri-State Freethinkers received press recently because they unveiled a proposed billboard campaign to denigrate the Ark Encounter (our life-size Noah’s Ark opening July 7 in Williamstown, Kentucky) to try to stop people from attending. The billboards disparaged and misrepresented not only the Ark Encounter but also the God of the Bible. Here is what these secularists proposed: Image from Indiegogo. By Ken Ham A fire was deliberately started in a nature preserve in Australia to help fire-dependent vegetation grow. Instead of fleeing the fire, as most animals would do, the echidnas stuck around, and nearly all of them survived. Researchers believe it’s likely that they curled up in thick trees or logs and entered a state known as torpor. This allows them to become “inert and chilly,” thus heavily reducing their energy needs and helping them to survive with limited resources. Interestingly, some creation researchers think that perhaps some animals on the Ark entered a torpid state during …read more
