By Ken Ham What happens when a culture rejects God’s Word as the authority? Ultimately, anything goes! And this is exactly what we’re seeing here in the West. The most recent example? A judge in Oregon recently granted a 27-year-old video game designer’s request to become “genderless.” Reportedly, “Patch,” as this person goes by, is “likely the first legally agender person in the United States.” The same judge also granted Patch’s request to drop Patch’s last name and become “mononymous,” having only one name instead of a given name and surname. Patch has also chosen not to use any pronouns, [More]

By Creation Moments A report in a British newspaper about 10 years ago suggested that dinosaurs may have died out, because they picked up diseases from insect bites, with which they were not able to cope. Previously, it had been an article of faith for over 20 years that dinosaurs had died out as a result of a massive asteroid strike on the Earth, supposedly at Chicxulub, Mexico. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Creation Moments I loved the zoo, when I was a boy. How we used to laugh at the antics of the chimpanzees at their “tea parties”! We were amused that they wore clothes, as they performed activities that looked vaguely human. Well, we kept on laughing, until we decided that it was an improper anthropomorphism, and the events were banned. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham My parents passed on a legacy that has impacted me, my children, and now my grandchildren. It’s a legacy of loving the Lord, upholding the authority of His Word, and contending for the faith (Jude verse 3). I frequently encourage parents and grandparents to think about the legacy they want to leave. That’s why I’m so excited to support a book by my good friend David Green, CEO and founder of Hobby Lobby (a US arts and craft chain of retail stores). Giving It All Away is a brief, easy-to-read guide to living generously and giving to [More]

By schaffee On this episode of ID the Future, CSC Director of Communications Rob Crowther interviews CSC Senior Fellow Jay Richards. Listen in as Richards rebuts the warfare thesis – the idea that religion and science are antagonists – and argues that historically, Judeo-Christian culture “was the seedbed from which science emerged.” Has science missed out by being partnered with materialism? By Ken Ham There have been multiple (unsuccessful) efforts to pass Darwin Day legislation here in the United States. If such legislation passed in the US Congress, it would set aside Charles Darwin’s birthday (February 12) as National Darwin Day. Well, according to reports, US Representative Jim Himes of Southwestern Connecticut is introducing yet another bill in Congress to continue the fight for a Darwin Day. Himes claims that this is the kind of legislation his constituents “want him to pursue at a time when skepticism surrounds science.” Reportedly, “he has championed the legislation for several years because ‘science and [More]
By Ken Ham I enjoy meeting people at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum—you never know who you’ll meet next! Recently, while visiting the Ark, I had the privilege of meeting Don, a 94-year-old master craftsman, who uses wood to make beautiful models. Based on photos from Answers magazine and the dimensions of the Ark we provided, Don constructed a beautiful scale model of Noah’s Ark. He brought his model all the way from Raytown, Missouri (a suburb of Kansas City) especially to show me. Don based his scale …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG
