By Creation Moments I loved the zoo, when I was a boy. How we used to laugh at the antics of the chimpanzees at their “tea parties”! We were amused that they wore clothes, as they performed activities that looked vaguely human. Well, we kept on laughing, until we decided that it was an improper anthropomorphism, and the events were banned. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham My parents passed on a legacy that has impacted me, my children, and now my grandchildren. It’s a legacy of loving the Lord, upholding the authority of His Word, and contending for the faith (Jude verse 3). I frequently encourage parents and grandparents to think about the legacy they want to leave. That’s why I’m so excited to support a book by my good friend David Green, CEO and founder of Hobby Lobby (a US arts and craft chain of retail stores). Giving It All Away is a brief, easy-to-read guide to living generously and giving to

By Ken Ham Over four days last week, it was wonderful to hear the Scottish brogue in our AiG offices, the Creation Museum, and Ark Encounter. A video crew from Truth in Science, an organization based in Britain, conducted several interviews with our scientists, research faculty, and others at AiG. Their programs will eventually air not only on television in the UK, but also on the Internet so that people all over the world can watch this multi-part series of programs. Here is a photo of AiG speaker Bodie Hodge with three of the four Scots just before the start

By Ken Ham There have been multiple (unsuccessful) efforts to pass Darwin Day legislation here in the United States. If such legislation passed in the US Congress, it would set aside Charles Darwin’s birthday (February 12) as National Darwin Day. Well, according to reports, US Representative Jim Himes of Southwestern Connecticut is introducing yet another bill in Congress to continue the fight for a Darwin Day. Himes claims that this is the kind of legislation his constituents “want him to pursue at a time when skepticism surrounds science.” Reportedly, “he has championed the legislation for several years because ‘science and

By Ken Ham I enjoy meeting people at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum—you never know who you’ll meet next! Recently, while visiting the Ark, I had the privilege of meeting Don, a 94-year-old master craftsman, who uses wood to make beautiful models. Based on photos from Answers magazine and the dimensions of the Ark we provided, Don constructed a beautiful scale model of Noah’s Ark. He brought his model all the way from Raytown, Missouri (a suburb of Kansas City) especially to show me. Don based his scale …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG

By Creation Moments One well-known pastor has recently stated that, if we ask our young people to believe something, because “The Bible tells me so”, then we are creating a house of cards religion. What happens, he asks, when they go to college and find that the walls of Jericho did not really come down, or that what they have been told about the world being created in 6 days is at odds with the fact that the universe is 14.7 billion years old? read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham Federal civil rights law in America prohibits job discrimination on the basis of sex. Well, last week the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, a federal appeals court in Chicago, ruled that sex also includes the expanded definition of sexual orientation. This ruling forbids discrimination “against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender employees” for that circuit. The Seventh Circuit, a leader among the other circuits, is not known to be very liberal, so it seems likely that other circuits will follow this ruling and will decide to rewrite federal law, as the Seventh Circuit did. Inevitably this
