By Ken Ham With the opening of the Ark Encounter last July, we’ve seen the number of guests visiting the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky, triple and even quadruple on some days. In fact, we’ve had to expand our parking lot to accommodate 1,200 additional guest vehicles. What a good problem to have! In addition to the museum facilities, petting zoo, the beautiful botanical gardens, zip lines, and more, the museum offers our very popular workshops. One of these workshops is the Snakes Alive reptile workshop with herpetologist Rick Teepen. I thought I’d share some feedback we received from Joyce, [More]

By Creation Moments Calculating the age of the earth, from empirical data, requires presuppositions. The scientists, who calculate the age of rocks using, for example, uranium-lead dating, are intelligent people, and completely capable of performing careful experiments. Their care, coupled with their technology, means that they make highly accurate measurements of the amounts of uranium and lead. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham What do the religions of Islam and Mormonism have in common? And how would you share gospel truth with someone who holds to either of these beliefs? Though many of us wouldn’t know what to say, we need to be prepared in all circumstances to effectively share the gospel with others. That’s why we’re featuring our World Religions Conference this summer, July 24–27, 2017, here in Northern Kentucky. Recently two of the conference speakers, Roger Patterson and Dr. Tommy Mitchell, answered the question, “What do Islam and Mormonism have in common?” and gave some more details on [More]

By Ken Ham June has been designated LGBT Pride Month. Many organizations, groups, and companies have been displaying rainbow colors and flags to proudly celebrate these sinful lifestyles and choices. It seems there’s an increase in the number of organizations celebrating all things LGBT each year, which is certainly not surprising as our culture grows increasingly secular and reflects this mindset in what it values and celebrates. Our culture has changed from by and large building its worldview on God’s Word to building a worldview on man’s word. Rainbow Fries and Flags Here are just two examples. By Ken Ham I was excited to go behind the scenes recently at a church in Columbus, Ohio, during their Vacation Bible School (VBS). This VBS was extra special because this church is a pilot church for our Answers VBS—they were doing next year’s program! We’re very excited that young people will be discovering Jesus from eternity past to eternity future with the 2018 VBS, Time Lab. While I was in Columbus, I recorded two Facebook Live videos to give you a sneak peek at what next year’s VBS will be like. The first video takes you behind the scenes [More]

We’ve seen in museums, textbooks, magazines, and in our biology classes that all life is made up of cells. Inside these cells are tiny, submicroscopic, molecular machines that function to sustain life. How do these biological machines work? And what does the Bible have to say about design in nature? The biblical narrative that the first Egyptian Dynasty descended from the biblical Ham, the son of Noah, as told in the book of Genesis, could well be supported by recent research based on DNA taken from Egyptian mummies, analysts said. According to CNN, researchers from the University of Tuebingen and the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Jena, both in Germany, found “unexpected results” when decoding the genome of ancient Egyptians. Their work, published online in Nature Communications, concluded that preserved remains found in Abusir-el Meleq, Middle Egypt, were the closest genetic relatives of Neolithic and [More]

By Creation Moments Comets are fascinating things. Although there are a lot of them out there in our night sky, the overwhelming majority of them are insufficiently bright to see with the naked eye. By Ken Ham I try to make the (very long!) trip back to my home country of Australia at least once every year. Well, I’m excited to be heading back this fall (or, rather, this spring in Australia) to speak at the Re-Engage Conference 2017 taking place near Brisbane, Australia, November 25, 2017. This will be my only public speaking event in Australia this year. This one-day conference will equip you with answers to help engage your family, church, and community for the Lord Jesus. God’s holiness demands that His creation should not distort anything about Him or about the creation itself. God could not create processes that would counter His own nature or that would lead man to conclude something untrue about God. If the words of Scripture are true words, if they are God’s words, then there can be no “evolution” in God’s work.
