By Ken Ham What exactly is it? That’s the question researchers are trying to figure out after the discovery of a frozen puppy preserved in permafrost in eastern Siberia. The two-month old canine was “remarkably preserved,” with fur, nose, and teeth still intact, even after a supposed 18,000 years. According to the BBC, scientists are wondering if this puppy represents an evolutionary link between wolves and dogs, or if it’s just a wolf or what we call a dog today. Researchers sequenced the puppy’s DNA but were unable to determine whether it was a wolf or a dog. This suggests [More]

By Ken Ham We love hearing stories about how God is using Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum in the lives of individuals, families, and children. Recently we heard from a father who shared what an impact his family’s visit to the Ark Encounter had on his young daughter. This young lady, Savannah, was so inspired by what she learned at the Ark that she decided to theme her science fair project around the Ark. She won first place and is moving on to Regionals! Here’s what her father shared with us, I want to share [More]
By Ken Ham Christmas is next week (which is hard to believe!), and I trust you are taking time this holiday season to reflect on Christ and what he came to do for us. The older we get, the faster Christmas seems to come! I asked my wife last year, “What’s the point of taking down Christmas decorations as we will only have to put them up again soon?” And I told her this week, “See, I was right!” To help you keep your thoughts focused on Christ, I thought I’d share a short devotional. This devotional is included, in [More]

When wading into the waters of apologetics and the origins debate, it usually doesn’t take long before we hit problems defining terms. Many words commonly used in these debates have large ranges of meaning that often get conflated and confused with each other. If we are to have a meaningful dialogue, we must be careful to define our terms carefully so that everyone understands each other.   Read More: Defining terms carefully – creation.com

It’s exciting when research with medical implications also provides insight into the mechanisms of biological adaptation. Two new studies contribute to a large body of research that not only contradicts the textbook account for the evolution of life on Earth, but also supports the explanation of engineered adaptability. By way of background, the standard account of evolution is a two-step process that supposedly explains how … More… …read more Source: icr.org
By Michael Egnor On this episode of ID the Future, neurosurgery professor Michael Egnor talks about the code of silence that kept numerous scientists tied to consensus and silent on Jeffrey Epstein when they should have spoken out. Egnor says that even when it was already widely known that he was involved in child prostitution, his funding was still widely sought and received by scientific institutions, and he entertained scientists who willingly accepted his money. Anyone who’d spoken up, says Egnor, would likely have lost his career. The parallel with intelligent design is striking, and Egnor offers examples of scientists [More]

By Sarah Chaffee Dr. Howard Glicksman, author of an extended series at Evolution News on “The Designed Body,” is interviewed on a classic episode of ID the Future by Ray Bohlin on glucose, glycogen, glucogon, insulin — all part of an extended multi-step series essential for life — an irreducibly complex series. “If students only knew how life worked,” says Dr. Glicksman,” … they’d quickly come to realize that when it comes to figuring out where it all came from, common sense tells us it was intelligent design, and it’s the Darwinists who are suffering from an illusion.” Your browser [More]

How did Neanderthals go extinct? Four researchers from the Netherlands recently published the results of their computer-modeled human populations in the journal PLOS ONE.1 The findings show that small Neanderthal population sizes would have caused them to become extinct in just 10,000 years. How did Neanderthals survive the 400,000 years they were supposedly on Earth? Neanderthals were real people. Hundreds of r… More… …read more Source: icr.org

By Ken Ham On Sunday, my good friend Pastor Johnny Hunt ( Our theme for our 2020 Answers VBS is Mystery Island. We’re thankful for his past and ongoing support as he moves into this new and exciting role. He has such a love for the gospel and desire to see the lost come to know Christ (a passion we share here at AiG, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum)—I’m sure he will do well in his new role with the North American Mission Board. God’s richest blessings on Pastor Johnny, and his wife Janet, as they move into [More]
David Fouts is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and an expert in Hebrew and Old Testament exegesis, having studied under Bruce Waltke, Allen P. Ross, and Eugene Merrill. He has taught at Yellowstone Baptist College, Dallas Seminary, and Bryan College. In this self-published monograph, Fouts offers a detailed exegesis of the first two chapters of Genesis.   Fouts’ motivation to write this book is partly due to the result of a survey that showed so few evangelical academics (44%) chose the simple accounts of Genesis 1–2 as authoritative over evolution regarding the origins of the heavens and the earth, [More]
