By Ken Ham Volunteers are a huge part of the Answers in Genesis ministry—we are so thankful for the many individuals, families, and groups (thousands of people over the years) who come and serve at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum or with AiG here in N. Kentucky. Their work is such a blessing to us and so vital! And you can volunteer with AiG and our attractions this summer and be part of what we’re doing in reaching millions with the messages of biblical authority and the gospel. Some volunteers come for a few days and others for a [More]

By Ken Ham Studying science is more than just learning a series of facts about the world from a textbook. It’s a discipline and methodology of how we investigate and study the world around us. But this “hands-on” portion of science and the collaboration inherent within the sciences are hard to replicate at home without expensive equipment and supplies. And that’s why we’re offering a year of science labs for high school students at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky. Five high-school-level science lab courses are available for registration in the 2022–2023 school year. Biology (available at [More]

By Ken Ham Many times, when there’s an article about Answers in Genesis (AiG), the Ark Encounter, or the Creation Museum in the media, the author of the item refers to us as a “young earth” organization. It seems these reporters have a standard paragraph they place in such articles stating something like, “These are the people who believe in a young earth, reject evolution, believe dinosaurs lived with people, believe that there was a global flood, and reject science.” Now, I could spend pages unpacking all of that. We are not against science—we love science. And we do believe [More]

By Michael Denton Today’s ID the Future spotlights the groundbreaking new book The Miracle of Man: The Fine Tuning of Nature for Human Existence, with author and biologist Michael Denton reading excerpts from the work. Here Denton, who is also an MD, marvels at the engineering sophistication of the human heart and hands. Then he dives into the heart of his new book, teasing just a small sampling of the many ways nature appears fine tuned for bipedal, intelligent, technology-developing creatures such as ourselves. One or two such examples are interesting. But where the argument gains dramatic force is in [More]

By Ken Ham I am so excited to announce that, after being closed all winter for a complete upgrade, Legacy Hall at the Creation Museum is now open! This major upgrade allows us to fit 100 more seats into the auditorium (which can now seat nearly 1,000 people). We completely upgraded our older technology (including installing an LED wall and new sound and lighting systems) so we can better serve our guests and reach even more people during our daily presentations. The space that is currently Legacy Hall started out as our warehouse. We quickly outgrew the space, moving the [More]
By Ken Ham I came across this article recently and found it fascinating. The article mentions that fifty stones were found in France with carvings on them, which were manufactured by firelight. They were likely made using stone tools by the Magdalenian people, conventionally dated as supposedly living from 23,000–14,000 years ago. Now while we would strongly disagree with the conventional dating that claims these “stones were incised with artistic designs around 15,000 years ago” (in reality probably only around 4,000–4,200 years ago), these stones actually showcase the ingenuity and intelligence of early post-flood peoples. The Universities of York and [More]

By Ken Ham Have you ever purchased a commentary on Genesis only to be disappointed that the author either compromises God’s Word in Genesis by adding millions of years into the creation account somehow or just ignores the hard questions about Genesis 1–11 and sticks to the big picture until they get to Genesis 12 and Abraham? Well, if that’s been your experience, you’ll be excited about my Creation to Babel: A Commentary for Families is a commentary I wrote on the first eleven chapters of Genesis—the foundational chapters of the rest of the Bible and of Christian theology, doctrine, [More]
By Guillermo Gonzalez On this ID the Future from the vault, host Jay Richards and astronomer Guillermo Gonzalez, authors of The Privileged Planet: How Our Place in the Cosmos Is Designed for Discovery, discuss what’s changed in the years since the book first appeared. One big change: the number of exo-planets discovered has exploded from 200 or so to several thousand. Gonzalez walks through this and other exciting recent advances in astronomy, and the two discuss how these new discoveries bear on the predictions and arguments they advanced in their book. Also in the discussion, Gonzalez speculates about what the [More]
