The ‘big picture’ in which the Gospel makes sense Published: 24 March 2013 (GMT+10) sxc.hu/ba1969 Why bother with creation evangelism? Why start all the way back in Genesis when the gospel is all about Jesus dying for our sins and rising for our justification (Romans 4:25)? CMI’s Dr Carl Wieland explores these questions in today’s feedback. Read More via Creation evangelism.
Tim Chaffey, AiG–U.S., examines a couple of views that admit Jesus was crucified but claim that He somehow managed to survive for a short time after being taken off the Cross. Read more here: AIG Daily
As you may know, each year AiG partners with Canyon Ministries—led by our good friend Tom Vail—to conduct three to four raft trips on the Colorado River through the incredible Grand Canyon. These raft trips, focusing on creation and Flood geology, typically fill up months before they launch. Tom has alerted us to the fact that an AiG supporter, Lowell Shoaf of Ohio, will be conducting a special fundraising effort to benefit not only Canyon Ministries, but also Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter project. The journey that Lowell will be on is called “The Canyon-to-Creation Walk and Read

Click here to listen. On this episode of ID the Future, hear from Casey Luskin as he talks about why science censorship is bad for education, even as Darwin activists such as Zack Kopplin lobby to repress critiques of Darwinian evolution. Casey explains how giving students full access to the best scientific information would help solve many problems facing science education today.
Abraham Ulrikab—the ‘zoo exhibit’ who could write by Shaun Doyle Creation readers may recall the story of Ota Benga—the pygmy taken from his home in Africa in 1904 and showcased in a US zoo as an example of an evolutionarily ‘primitive’ race.1 His story was not unique; from about 1870 to 1940, “travelling exhibits of non-European natives were recurring features of zoological gardens where they eclipsed the drawing power of the more usual animal exhibits.”2 Abraham Ulrikab was an Inuit (formerly called ‘Eskimo’) whom Moravian missionaries in Hebron, Labrador (Canada), counted among their converts. He and several of his fellow

It’s not too often that I am totally surprised, but I was wondering what was happening when Mr. Walt Sivertsen walked on the platform during our “Answers” conference in Chicago recently. Walt was holding something in a frame as he walked to the podium. He told the conference audience gathered at Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church that his creation group, Midwest Creation Fellowship, had passed a resolution—which they called a “spiritual bouquet.” In the resolution, it stated that because the “principalities and powers of darkness have captured the minds of many in our society, and whereas Ken Ham left his homeland

Over and again we see God promising being true to His word. Even at the beginning, after the Fall brought sin and death, God promised that Christ would step into history, as a “lamb.” Read more here: AIG Daily
One of my heroes of the faith is theologian Dr. John Whitcomb. He is a coauthor (along with the late Dr. Henry Morris) of the famous book, The Genesis Flood. This is the book that really started the modern biblical creation movement over 50 years ago. Dr. Whitcomb gave us permission to reprint an article he wrote—titled “From Virgin Birth to Glorious Resurrection.” I thought this would be very suitable for this “Resurrection Sunday.” From Virgin Birth to Glorious Resurrection: The Son of God and Women By DR. JOHN C. WHITCOMB President, Whitcomb Ministries, Inc. It is fascinating to see the part

Enjoying the “Sights & Sounds” of the Museum on a Father-Daughter Getaway If you have ever attended one of the wonderful, Bible-based musical dramas put on by Sight & Sound productions in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, or Branson, Missouri, you have been treated to one of the finest Christian productions in the world. Ever wonder who the creative person is behind these excellent Bible-honoring musicals? Well, it’s Josh Enck, and we were honored to host him and his daughter Faith for a tour of our Creation Museum recently during their father-daughter outing. Here is a photo of them with me in my

More and more people in the church today are recognizing that America is becoming increasingly pagan every day! This nation has all but abandoned God and His Word. Read more here: AIG Daily
As part of the AiG conferences I speak at each year across the nation, we usually conduct special sessions for children and teens, which we call “school assemblies.” Each year, I am able to teach many thousands of kids the truth of God’s Word and equip them to defend the Christian faith. Here is a photograph of some of the hundreds of children I taught at school assemblies in the Chicago area this past Monday (at Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church, Lake Zurich). As part of what I do to teach the children (kindergarten through grade 6), I teach them

The Tower of Babel can be a controversial issue for some people. Even within the church, the Tower is attacked as a mythological account—or some will state that it has little value in history and needs to be reinterpreted with modern eyes. Recently, Bodie Hodge of AiG authored a new book called Tower of Babel: The Cultural History of Our Ancestors. This book takes a unique look at the events of the Tower of Babel and how this piece of biblical history reveals insights into the genealogy of all of us. Watch the short video trailer about the new

We’re conducting our own “spring cleaning” inside our huge AiG warehouse in northern Kentucky, and we hope you will “spring” into action to take advantage of some wonderful sales on books, videos, and other items at the Creation Museum on April 4–6. In addition to selling overstocked items, we also will have on sale some slightly worn or damaged resources—this clearance includes books, DVDs, curriculum, and even some clothing. Please note that while we would also love to have you tour the Creation Museum on those days of April 4–6 (Thursday through Saturday), our large selection of materials will be

Following September 11, 2001, the increased prominence of Islam in the media, and public declarations by government (and many church) leaders that Islam is a ‘great’ religion, will likely raise further questions in the minds of many young people in the churches. E.g. ‘Do Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same God?’ and ‘What does the Koran say about the Bible?’ Many Christian commentators have sought to raise awareness of fundamental doctrinal differences between the Koran and the Bible (see below), but few people are aware of how the Muslim’s holy book starkly contradicts the Biblical account of our origins.

I read this news report a few days ago: Controversial faith leader Rob Bell spoke over the weekend at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, Calif., where the former pastor openly endorsed gay marriage. When asked about the controversial issue by The Very Rev. Dr. Jane Shaw, who was moderating the event, he offered up a clear and concise response – one that will serve as a surprise to many conservative evangelicals. “Yes, I am for marriage. I am for fidelity. I am for love,” he said, going on to get more specific. “Whether it’s a man and a woman, a

Because people have been exposed to the many topics AiG covers (at seminars, on the radio, through our website and Creation Museum, etc.), it’s possible that many of them can forget what’s really at the heart of what we do at AiG. So I felt it was time to remind everyone of what the core message of the Answers in Genesis ministry really is. Our culture is quickly abandoning the authority of God’s Word, including two-thirds of youth in the church by the time they reach college age! We can’t afford to forget the heart of the AiG message—it’s about teaching people

A Russian resident recently discovered a metal bar gear embedded in some coal. The obvious answer to how the gear got there is that the coal formed around the abandoned metal piece not long ago. But since secularists maintain that the coal is millions of years old, some think that the gear came from ancient aliens instead. More…
Synchronized Sunday school for all ages! Answers Bible Curriculum is a full-featured, chronological, 3-year Sunday school program. Its 156 lessons are synchronized across 7 age groups from preschool to adults. Each group covers Genesis through Revelation and learns the same material—but at different levels of depth—empowering exciting and easy discussion for the entire family! In response to the startling findings of numerous studies—including those reported in the book, Already Gone—Answers Bible Curriculum is designed to stem the tide of skepticism toward God’s Word that begins in gradeschool. That skepticism turns to disbelief, and causes over two-thirds of young people to

Yes, I believe America is under judgment. Romans chapter 1 is being played out right before our eyes. And whose fault is it? I claim it is largely the fault of the church, including even many conservative, evangelical pastors who have compromised by adding the ideas of millions of years, evolution, or both to the Bible—or who say it doesn’t matter (even though they may preach the gospel powerfully). Recently at a conference at the Creation Museum, I gave a presentation in regard to this topic of compromise in the American church. I wrote a short lead article for our

AiG’s integrated, three-year Bible curriculum is proving to be extremely popular—in fact, it’s so popular that our warehouse can hardly keep up with the orders. It really is an incredible curriculum to teach apologetics and biblical authority—and to teach chronologically through Scripture. We call it Answers Bible Curriculum. It can be used for Sunday school, Christian school, or at home. We received this letter from a supporter recently: I want to thank AiG for such an amazing curriculum. As Christian parents we want our children to believe in God and serve Him, but we often fail at teaching them God’s

At a souvenir store in Australia, I saw a T-shirt that had a picture of a crocodile with its mouth open and the words “trust me” on it. Well, in this fallen world, I wouldn’t trust a crocodile—they have been known to kill many people, including American tourists! I thought of this when an item was brought to my attention titled “7 things that are older than Ken Ham’s universe.” The blogger listed seven items that are supposedly dated at much older than the 6,000 years biblical creationists put on the age of the universe—based on the Bible’s recorded history.
