By Ken Ham Recently, articles such as this one from the Christian Post have reported that a challenge was made in Florida regarding a Ten Commandments monument outside a local courthouse. Well, the Christian organization that put up the monument, with the permission of the court, refused to remove it. So a local atheist organization has been allowed to put up a monument of its own in the same area. Now, the atheist group’s monument will include a number of quotations regarding religion from people such as American Atheists founder Madalyn Murray O’Hair. The Christian Post article reported that the [More]

It’s not exactly a plant, but it’s not completely an animal either. It crawls like an animal and then grows fruits and sows seed like a plant on colorful stalks. Sometimes it acts like a single-celled creature with a refined social order. And sometimes all those single living cells fuse into one giant organism. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
It was about 50 years ago that Chinese immigrants to the United States brought some freshwater clams with them. It is known that today the clam is found in at least 35 states. That’s an amazing amount of territory to cover in only 50 years for a creature that only has one foot. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

How old is the moon? Evolutionary scientists talk about the craters on the moon being sixty-five or a hundred million years old or even billions of years old. But since we have learned what kind of rock the moon is made of, we now know that these ages are impossibly old. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
The narwhal is a small whale, reaching perhaps 10 feet in length, which has an eight-foot spiral tusk coming out of its head. While a whale with a tusk nearly as long as its body might be a dramatic sight, it must be difficult for the narwhal to hunt down its food. The strap-toothed whale would seem to have an even more difficult time catching its prey. You see, this whale has two long teeth growing out of its lower jaw which curve over its upper jaw, preventing it from opening its mouth very wide. read more …read more Read [More]
What is a Christian to think when we are told so often that the “facts of science” prove evolution – and disprove the Bible’s story of man’s history? Not all “facts” are created equal. For example, the fact that Jesus Christ was a real person is not open to interpretation. He is mentioned in the Bible and by other writings of the time. That’s a fact. Evolutionists use a different meaning for the word “fact”. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
Biblical inerrancy has become one of the most-challenged issues surrounding God’s Word of our generation. “Biblical inerrancy” is really just a phrase that means the Bible is without error—an idea that is part of our foundation for being able to fully trust God’s Word. Zack Hunt is a writer, speaker, and graduate student at Yale Divinity School, and he has a forthcoming book on holiness. Now, Hunt recently wrote an article titled “The Bible Isn’t Perfect And It Says So Itself” on biblical inerrancy for his blog, explaining that he doesn’t believe in it. Just to give you an …read [More]

By Ken Ham But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14) Over the past few weeks, I have spoken to thousands of parents at various homeschool conventions. I have also spoken to hundreds and hundreds of their kids as well. How I praise the Lord for the opportunities he gives us to help equip parents and to teach children the truth of God’s Word—particularly in such a culture that grows increasingly intolerant of biblical Christianity. I love what John Gill states about Matthew [More]
What is warm blooded, sits on its eggs like a hen, but flies much better than a hen, and has six legs? It’s the bumblebee. The amazing fact that bumblebees are warm blooded was discovered after a scientist saw a bumblebee out gathering nectar one frosty cold morning. As it turned out, even with air temperatures near freezing, a bumblebee can maintain a body temperature of 95 degrees (F). read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

Many species of birds live in communities that are quite complex and even resemble human communities. In the Amazon rainforests of Peru, 20 or more mixed species of birds will flock together in the lower levels of the rainforest canopy. Recently, Blue Ridge Christian Academy in South Carolina came under some vicious attacks from many atheists for teaching biblical creation. Specifically, a quiz given to eight fourth-grade students of this private school, based on the teaching of one of our videos, Dinosaurs, Genesis, and the Gospel, was posted online and the atheist community got really upset about it and went into action. Well, Answers in Genesis offered its support to the school in the midst of these attacks. We donated significant resources (books and DVDs) to the school’s library. I was even able to visit the academy on my way [More]

This year’s theme (and through 2014) for the AiG ministry is “Standing our Ground, Rescuing our Kids,” based on Galatians 1:4. It’s one of the reasons we support something called the National Bible Bee in the USA. Earlier this month, registration began for the 2013 Bible Bee. This is a family discipleship program—with a competition at the end of the year—for students ages 7–18. Through the summer, families will be memorizing Scripture and studying God’s Word, preparing to be tested on their general Bible knowledge as well as a thorough inductive study of one book …read more Read more here: [More]
Next month I will be flying back to southern California—where I used to live and often find myself doing speaking ministry—to keynote at a major homeschool convention. If you live in California or nearby states, then maybe you can make the drive to Anaheim’s Disneyland Hotel, June 6–8, 2013. A number of homeschool conventions are losing much of their biblical worldview emphasis and are allowing speakers and vendors to participate who are either secular in their thinking or don’t fully accept biblical authority, and as such, I look forward to speaking at this California event.
