By Ken Ham Many times over the years, and often on social media, I’ve been accused of being judgmental because I speak against the teaching of Christians who compromise Genesis with evolution—often naming names and calling those teachers to repentance for their compromise. I also get accused of judging people when I show clearly from Scripture that sexual conduct outside of marriage is sin, that abortion is murder, and so on. And when discussing issues of transgenderism and abortion, Christians who stand on God’s Word are often accused of being judgmental and using supposed hate speech. So, should Christians judge

By Ken Ham Did archaeologists just confirm yet another account from the Scriptures? On May 12, 2023, Associates for Biblical Research published a press release announcing the publication of a research study on an exciting find of a small, folded lead tablet sifted out of a pile of discarded archaeological material on biblical Mount Ebal. And, if the study is correct, this tablet confirms, yet again, that the Bible relates an accurate account of history! Now, the small tablet couldn’t be opened without destroying it, but the researchers were able to use a form of CT scanning to peer inside.

By Ken Ham Before I dive into this, I want to say that I realize the following statement could easily be taken out of context from what I’m about to communicate and that some people no doubt will be very upset with me for saying it. So, as you read this, please read it in context with everything I say throughout the blog. Okay, ready? Here we go! I believe those who compromise God’s Word in Genesis with evolution/millions of years are doing something similar, in a specific way that I’ll explain, to what cults do to the Bible. Before

By Ken Ham It’s May 18, 2023. Today is International Museum Day! And it’s also the 43rd anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington state, USA. Now, what do this special day and this anniversary have in common? Well, International Museum Day would be a great day to visit the Creation Museum (or make your plans to do so!). Not only is it one of the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world (the other being the Ark Encounter), but—and here’s the connection—our Flood Geology exhibit features a section on Mt. St. Helens. <img src="https://assets.answersingenesis.org/img/blogs/ken-ham/2023/05/cm-flood-geology-01.jpg" …read

By Jonathan McLatchie On this episode, Dr. Jonathan McLatchie takes us on a deep dive into two classic examples of irreducibly complex systems – the bacterial flagellar motor and the process of DNA replication in cell division. He explains the intricacies of each process and shows why each stands up to scrutiny as a true example of irreducible complexity. Along the way, he explains why the RNA world scenario isn’t likely to be the answer to irreducible complexity that materialists are looking for. And near the end, be sure to listen to McLatchie explain the “likelihood ratio”of the evidence for

By Ken Ham The meaning of anything depends on its origin. And did you know that the book of Genesis gives us an account of the origin of all the basic entities of life and the universe? Let’s start listing them: Genesis is a very important book as it provides the foundation for the rest of the Bible, for our Christian worldview, for all doctrine, and, in fact, for everything. The origin of space, matter, and time The origin of the earth The origin of water The origin of the atmosphere and hydrosphere The origin of light The origin of

By Ken Ham Does human life begin at conception or fertilization? At Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, we make sure we now say human life begins at fertilization. We don’t use the word conception as we have done in the past when discussing the issue of abortion. Why? Many people may not realize this, but the highly respected Stedman’s Medical Dictionary caved to societal pressures and changed the definition of conception. Why did they change the definition? Before we discuss the why, let’s look at the actual change that occurred. In the 26th edition, published in 1995, conception

By Ken Ham For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (2 Timothy 4:3–4) One of the observations I’ve made in recent times is that basic beliefs Christians have held to for 2,000 years (and the Israelites before them for hundreds more years!) are suddenly being portrayed as radical beliefs. At times, it’s as if those discovering that Christians hold to these beliefs are in shock that

By Ken Ham She/her, he/him, they/them, ze/zir, and the list goes on—should Christian use transgender pronouns? Should we call a man “she/her” if he asks us to? Should we use “they/them” to describe a person? As what are called “preferred pronouns” increasingly pop up in email signatures, on name tags, and in corporate LGBTQ sensitivity training seminars, it’s a question every Christian must grapple with. Dr. Rosaria Butterfield Repents on This Issue I was reminded of this recently when I saw a column written by Dr. Rosaria Butterfield. By Ken Ham Life or death? In Jeremiah 21:8 we read, “And to this people you shall say: ‘Thus says the Lord: Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.’” Now, the choice seems easy to us—choose life, of course! But let’s think about this from the perspective of the Israelites to whom this verse in Jeremiah was originally given. The Chaldeans (the Babylonians) had besieged the city of Jerusalem. These people were described by God in Habakkuk 1:6 as a “ruthless” people (NIV). So the people inside the city would be looking at
