“Excellent interview about the dangers of evolutionary thinking. You can watch videos on this topic here.”  Admin Listen Now. On this episode of ID the Future, host David Boze interviews celebrated talk show host and author Dennis Prager about his response to the recent claim that man has “evolved to need coercion.” Prager observes that today, Darwinian evolutionary theory has replaced Marxism as the new non-moral standard of explanation for human behavior. The evolutionary framework already permeates social thought on phenomena such as love, religion, and altruism; now, Darwinism provides a naturalistic argument for dictatorship. Tune in to hear Prager’s [More]

By Creation Moments There is a popular idea that the biological differences between men and women are merely a “biological experiment” – and some say it is not a very good one! You may have even heard that all it takes is two sets of human genes to make a human being. This kind of thinking results from the evolutionary worldview. The Bible takes a very contrary view, extolling the unique virtues and abilities of both men and women. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Creation Moments Did you know that there is a creature that can have a huge number of offspring, yet never have any children? That unusual creature is the aphid. The first aphid of spring is a female, has no wings, and hatches from an egg early in the season. After about 10 days, she will give live birth to another fully formed adult female aphid. There have been no males around. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Creation Moments Most of us are familiar with the Big Bang theory. It says the entire universe is the result of a gigantic explosion that took place about 16 billion years ago. “The main purpose of this site is to provide an abundance of evidence, both natural and supernatural, which one can study and use in defending and strengthening your faith and that of your family so you won’t fall victim to what’s described in this article.” Admin The average Christian family prays at the dinner table. They go to church together and the children are in Sunday school. Maybe they read Bible stories at bedtime and pray together when the children are tucked in. The children go to Christian camps each year, attend the youth group each week, and the family [More]
By Ken Ham When I attended university in Australia (many years ago!), I remember one of my professors stating that there were Babylonian stories about a flood similar to the account in the Bible. Therefore he concluded, the Jews borrowed their “story” from the Babylonians! But I say it’s really the other way round! There are flood legends in cultures all over the world because there really was an actual global Flood—Noah’s Flood. As the account of the Flood was handed down (and particularly as people spread out around the world after the Tower of Babel), it was changed by [More]

By Ken Ham Famed British evolutionist Richard Dawkins has joined other atheists in throwing something of a tantrum about the upcoming debate between Bill Nye and me on evolution vs. creation. Today’s lead web article on the Answers in Genesis website addresses Dawkins and his recent comments about the February 4 debate. The article begins with this paragraph: Well, the media coverage of the upcoming debate between Ken Ham and Bill Nye at the Creation Museum continues to grow. Many well-known figures on both sides are speaking out about who they believe will win or about whether there should be [More]

By Ken Ham As you know, our Creation Museum is now the host of many Bible-upholding conferences and special events. AiG itself is sponsoring many of them throughout 2014, including my debate with Bill Nye “the Science Guy” on February 4, plus a women’s Bible conference, workshops for ministry leaders, college expos, and on and on. At the same time, we allow groups to rent our Legacy Hall (seating 900 people) and other features around the museum and grounds if they meet our criteria. Well, the Reforming Families Conference will be held at the Creation Museum beginning July 31 in [More]
By Creation Moments Many of us can remember how, in biology class, we had to learn how different animals reproduce. Some give birth to live young while others lay eggs. But the thrip does it both ways! The thrip is a gnat-like bug that lives within decaying leaves and helps to break them down. The thrip has another surprise: it reproduces twice a year. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

I would like to share the struggle I had trying to align a new-found Christian faith with evolution. I grew up with a strong interest in science, was saved and born again at 15, before studying science at university for 5 years in the 1980’s. While studying, I was also in my Bible every day, and attending church twice most Sundays with friends. However, I adopted a theistic version of evolution as a result of all my learning, rather than the recent six day creation taught in the Bible. I wanted to trust both God and the “experts”. I reasoned [More]

By Ken Ham Karl Giberson, professor of science, religion, and writing at Stonehill College—and former vice president of BioLogos (which promotes theistic evolution) and previously a professor at a Nazarene college—wrote an article for The Daily Beast titled “2013 Was a Terrible Year for Evolution.” In this piece, Giberson claims that evolution “did not fare well in 2013” despite all the supposedly mounting evidence in favor of the idea. I know Giberson certainly hates the fact that organizations like Answers in Genesis pump out millions of pieces of literature and attract millions of people a year to our website—and two [More]
By Creation Moments Some animals use quite a bag of tricks to make their living or protect themselves. The puff adder is one example of a “wise serpent.” The puff adder is harmless, and if you try to grab him he will coil himself up so that you will have to reach past his head. Then he puffs his head up just like a cobra. No one wants to grab a cobra! read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
