By Creation Moments Why do giraffes have long necks or kangaroos have pouches? Evolutionists answer that natural selection has favored the development of certain characteristics while discouraging and eliminating other features. But if this is what happened, we who believe in creation have a few questions. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Ken Ham It’s no secret that government schools in the United States and around the world mostly teach that the earth has existed for billions of years, that people evolved from ape-like creatures, and that human life has no purpose or meaning greater than the life of an animal. As Christians, we need to teach our children about God and His creation as the Bible declares it and the truth of the Scriptures from the very first verse. Since most of our readers don’t get the American Atheist magazine delivered to their homes, I thought I’d share with you [More]

By Ken Ham Construction on a new Bible museum in Washington, DC, has begun and will attempt to show the “impact, history, and narrative” of the Bible. This museum, founded by the president of Hobby Lobby, Steve Green, is expected to open in 2017 and will rival the Smithsonian in size. We actually have a Bible exhibit from Steve Green’s collection here at the Creation Museum. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is urging Steve Green well in advance of the museum’s opening to serve what they call “Eden food”—a vegan diet—at the museum. They claim …read more [More]

By Ken Ham Christmas is just around the corner, and here at the Creation Museum we are busy preparing for our annual Christmas Town. And this year it’s even more exciting as we add new events, more lights, and, of course, the return of a live Nativity. This year, attendees will get to enjoy a special musical program by Buddy Davis and me, and I will also be giving a Christmas talk. I thought I would share with you the press release* about this exciting—and largely free—Christmas event. The highly popular Christmas festivities at the Creation Museum—called Christmas Town—are returning [More]
By Ken Ham An argument used in some recent blogs and social media posts is the idea that teaching young-earth creation leads to atheism! In a recent blog post, James McGrath, associate professor of religion and philosophy at Butler University (and well known for his opposition to Answers in Genesis), associates biblical creation with idolatry and says that we are leading people toward atheism. He claims, “The irony is that not only the wall young-earth creationists build, but the system of thought that they are protecting, is entirely a human construction—exactly the sort of thing that they tell people is [More]

By Ken Ham When Christians publicly take a stand on moral issues, such as homosexual behavior and gay marriage, they are often accused of being judgmental. Well, the famous country singer Dolly Parton used this argument recently in an interview with Billboard. She was asked, “Dollywood attracts lots of church groups, but it has also become a draw for the LGBT community. What does that say about you?” In reply she stated, “It’s a place for entertainment, a place for all families, period. It’s for all that. But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they’re [More]
