By Ken Ham Over the past few months, and especially since the evolution/creation debate in February, I’ve blogged many times about statements that Bill Nye “the Science Guy” has made to the media. Many of these statements are inflammatory against creationists (and really Christianity in general) and are simply not true representations of the nature of science or the creation/evolution controversy. Well, Bill Nye made more of these kinds of comments in a recent interview with Newsmax TV. Earlier, I wrote about Nye’s statement that denying evolution is unique to America and showed that this is simply not …read more

By Creation Moments According to the biblical chronology, God ordered Aaron to be consecrated as the first priest of Israel about 3,400 years ago. From Aaron, priesthood was passed down from father to son until the official priesthood ended with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. After that, fathers would tell their children that they were descended from the priestly class. Though only these oral histories exist today, modern Judaism still honors Aaron’s descendants. Today they are called cohanim, which is the plural of cohen, meaning “priest” in Hebrew. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

They are found anywhere from the tropics to New Jersey. The specialization shown by these ants makes an evolutionary explanation for them impossible. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments
By Ken Ham In an interview with NewsMax, Bill Nye “The Science Guy” claimed that denying evolution is something that is unique to the United States and that the controversy is not a “problem anywhere else.” Now, he said this probably because America has access to more apologetics resources to support the biblical creation position than any other place in the world. Also, Answers in Genesis and our Creation Museum, the largest apologetics ministry in the world, are based out of the US. Due to the availability of resources, Americans are generally the best informed about apologetics issues, so we

By Ken Ham Recently, I wrote about Stephen Hawking’s concerns that artificial intelligence might someday wipe out the human race. Well, he is not the only one worried that humanity might be cataclysmically destroyed. According to The Telegraph (UK), Richard Dawkins and 100 other experts are worried that a massive asteroid impact may destroy life as we know it. Earlier this year Bill Nye expressed similar concerns in a YouTube video. Man’s Ideas More than 100 “scientists, physicists, artists, astronauts and business leaders from 30 countries” have signed a declaration that seeks to “solve humanity’s greatest challenges to safeguard …read

By Creation Moments We recently reported on this program that another set of new planets had been discovered circling another star. We pointed out that in each case, most of the planets were too large to support life. In many of the instances, the planets also had egg shaped orbits that would provide them with harsh, highly erratic climates – if they had any atmosphere at all. read more …read more Read more here: Creation Moments

By Creation Moments Axel Heiberg Island in Northern Canada is the closest point of land to the North Pole. The landscape is completely barren today, but long ago a dense forest of large meta-sequoia trees grew there. At that time, the climate must have been like Florida today.
